Silver Darling in Aberdeen City

Absolutely fantastic.We arrived an hour early to our reservation as we had finished in town. I had tried to phone but it was engaged so we chanced it being OK. It was absolutely no bother and we were seated straight away.The food was devine. Such a lovely environment and the staff were excellent. Such knowledgeable staff that were just the right amount of attentive.Great experience and CAN. NOT. WAIT. to go back and have that linguine again. Would recommend to everyone!

Absolutely delicious haddock and chips and a delightful selection of non alcoholic mocktails. Stunning views from every window and lovely staff serving the diners. This was my first visit, on the recommendation of a regular diner, and I will certainly revisit the restaurant whenever I am in Aberdeen

I organised a group lunch. We pre ordered. I take my visitors here often. Sadly, the service was slow. Our 5 guests had to leave without dessert @ 2.30. we arrived at 12. Starters came out at 1310. Of course we were charged for the full bill, I complained at the time. I've written to them. Awaiting a response too. So my overall experience on this occasion was not a good one. I feel my reputation is on the line as an organiser of events to this establishment.

Amazing food and we even got to see a pod of dolphins put on a show from our table. Was one of the most memorable meals of our lives! Would highly recommend this place.

The food was good, the staff attentive and helpful but overall I felt it was a little expensive. That said the location at the mouth of the harbour giving good views along the esplanade and of the boats coming and going was great, if a little out of the way.Both the fish dishes we had were well cooked and fresh.Certainly worth a visit.

Great atmosphere in the Silver Darling, friendly staff, tasty food, not big portion, just enough. Sadly it is no lobster on this time of the year. Great view also.

Fantastic location and a great dinner. The seared Cod was excellent, wine prices reasonable and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Booking is essential.

Enjoyed a good meal back here in September, reasonably priced to what you see some places charge for the quality of food. Presentation was great, staff was welcoming, kept looking around to see what other people had to be jealous of, great view overseeing the beach and also around the harbour as well.

We had a wonderful dinner at The Silver Darling. Delicious food and wonderful service! The mussel mariniere main was probably the best we've had and an absolutely huge portion of tasty mussels in a delicious sauce with crispy, salty French fries! The strawberry tasting plate dessert was the perfect summer dessert and a lovely way to end your meal! It was fresh, light sweet and definitely hits the spot! The service was wonderful, we booked and asked for a nice view for a special occasion and boy did we get just that! Stunning scenes of the ocean and beachfront. Our waitress was lovely, very attentive and friendly. We also found the pricing fair for the amount and quality of the food! Would highly recommend The Silver Darling!
