Society Bar and Restaurant in Aberdeen City

Great place for coffee and to work, but don’t bother with lunch. Very expensive for basic bread and chicken with nothing special in it. Won’t be going again! The order takes longer to prepare than you’d expect.

The cafe come to ask me to leave and making excuse that they have reservations when I was sitting at the table before.I don’t mins to order more and just sit a chill, the staff said “there is a sign that customer can sit only 1.5 hrs”So if anyone looking for place to study or chill more than 1.5 hrsDo not come to this cafe. They are not welcome you.Paid at 10.30 leave at 14.00NOT OVER 4 HRSOrder breakfast and 2 cup of coffee.

A weebit crowded popular lovely spot with good coffee and friendly staff. 5 stars from me.

Nice fresh food, had a delicious breakfast here today, well presented and served quickly. The tables were a little too close, I felt, especially at the moment.

Big portions but staff really seamed to struggle with being busy.

I went to get a takeaway panini on my lunch break from work. There was 4 members of staff working and it took 30 mins to make my panini at which point it was handed to another customer who came in 10 minutes after me and who'd ordered a wrap and soup. I then told the server that I believed that could be mine, she said she'd go find out. She found out it was indeed mine and didn't go back to retrieve it instead carried on her job cutting up I presume his wrap. The girl who then served me took the panini from him and walked around the other members of staff asking if they'd messed up for about 5 mins. She finally handed it to me and said here's your panini, there was no apology or offer to remark it after another customer had man handled it.I have worked in hospitality for many years previously and I know mistakes happen but it was the lack of customer care that was shown that is what disappointed me about this service.

Lovely place with great food (bit pricey) however absolutely fed up of the wait for your food there. Not only that I said 3 times today I wanted piri chicken even when the guy was preparing it and I get roast chicken only, plain as anything. Honestly can’t go back there after waiting 20 mins for a wrap as I only have a half an hour lunch!

Great fresh food, very tasty and very cosmopolitan (veggie friendly too). Sorry I forgot to photograph her BLT & my toasted bagel... both were yum!
