Normally love this place but …… had meal tonight and kids had pizzas, apart from looking like smart price cheapos the kids didn’t complain. I usually have the fish or lasagna and on this occasion my partner and I both had the lasagna, we both had like 1 fork full and looked at one another ,that was enough 🤮, it had clearly went bad , so we ate our chips and salad and left the lasagnas , we debated about complaining straight away but we decided to just leave it , the waitress never came over once anyway . I left with the kids and the mrs went to pay , the x2 young Karen’s at the till were igronant , know “ how was your meal “or any manners or polite conversation, so this was enough to annoy the other half into complaining , all young Karen said was “ill let the manager know that’ll be £71 “, dissatisfied she paid and left , needless to say we won’t be back , the guy mark needs to get his house in order , 👋🥊 if you want a decent meal ploughman’s in peteculter is top class food amazing service is brilliant, or the dunaven in dyce also lovely

Good local pub. Service was quick. Beer selection on draught was limited. One real ale which was good. Folks were friendly.

A great pub, with a lively community atmosphere public bar and separate modern restaurant /dining room. Orkney Dark Island on the pump, Harviestoun Schiehallion on tap along with Drygate Brewery's Gladeye. Well worth a visit whilst waiting in the train.
