Hello there friends family and fellow travellers throughout the world! Barry Allan vocalist performer and massive foodie here with one of the most complimentary reviews I have ever done concerning the Bieldside Inn or the bielder as it's lovingly know in Bieldside Aberdeen Scotland phew please read on this is a cracker! Nestled in the little village of Beildside is the beilder a place of warmth love hospitality and five star food, run by the absolutely lovely Gavin and his team manageress Hannah supervisor Jack and the wonderful knowledgeable waitresses Ophelia,Zoe and Hannah you are instantly welcomed into the lively friendly comfortable arms of the bielder! Comprising a beautifully decorated restaurant, a fully stocked gin bar, and an excellent downstairs room for functions this place has it all with a mixed crowd,roaring fire 🔥 as soon as you walk in you feel at ease and last night with my friend Lillian this was no exception please read on! We arrived at 6.30 and it was already buzzing with good vibes and nice cheer Gavin was busy with a function but he came and greeted us and showed us to our well laid out table next to the fire to peruse the menu and what a menu it is! A lovely selection of fresh diverse dishes using local produced meats and veg cooked by the star of a chef Tommy a truly lovely guy and expert chef we made our choice I won't tell you what my friend had as it will take to long and I'm enthused by this restaurant I'll run out of space haha so I opted for the scallops with black pudding puree,pork belly and soured cherrys oh yes this sounded lovely! For mains I opted for the locally sourced rib eye steak chunky chips flat cap mushroom and tomatoe with pepper sauce oh yes! And for dessert the Terry's chocolate orange torte with a hazlenut tuile and ferrero Roche ice cream we were both really looking forward to our meal! The starter arrives! Beautifully cooked scallops with the sweetest pork belly cooked just right with the black pudding pudding puree and the cherry just complimenting the scallops so very well it was such a great dish cooked to a tee a great start to the meal I loved it! On to the main and wow my steak was served exactly as I'd asked on a lovely platter with amazing homemade chips in a basket mushroom tomatoe and the sauce wow! The steak knife wasn't needed I cut through this gorgeous bit of meat like butter it was so expertly cooked just perfect and the chips added another lovely level to the meat mushroom and tomatoe combinations it was brilliant huge flavours gripped my belly in joyful endulgance top class! Phew I hope you folks feel my excitement at this culinary wonderfulness it was that good,we sat back and awaited our dessert and oh my what a delight was placed before me! The loveliest rich chocolatey torte with chocolate pieces on top the most indescribable forrero Roche ice cream made in-house by magic hands Tommy and delicate little jellied pieces on the side an absolute triumph of a dessert simply stunning like the rest of the meal we had ate cooking to the highest standard,presented in the loveliest manner,served by the loveliest staff everything about our evening was just excellent five star without a doubt it was so very good! So what can I say folks if your in Aberdeen and you want food service and surroundings to the highest degree be sure to head to the Bielder a delightful restaurant bar brimming with life,love and simply top class food you will not I repeat not be dissapointed I assure you safe travels thanks for reading Barry Allan ........

Came here with a friend for evening drinks and desserts. The salted caramel, biscoff and smores cheesecake was delicious - what an invention! Their sticky toffee puddings are wonderful too.

Stylish venue with spacious and comfortable bar and adjacent restaurant with well spaced, private tables. Always a pleasure to see a simple menu.The food was timely and well presented. It was good but the bisque in the cod special was a bit bitter and overpowering though the fish itself and langustine were very good. Very nice starters too.Fair value and well prepared cocktails and good overall service.

A wonderful posh pub grub-inspired dinner. The Scotch egg starter was incredibly rich and oh so delicious, while my duck main was just incredible. The beef chilli tacos was very tasty as was the perfectly cooked steak. It was also incredibly busy on the Friday we visited so I was glad we’d managed to book a table! Delicious food in a homely atmosphere.

Great service and food was amazing. The place is cozy, updated and really nice. The set menu is so affordable. Been here a few times and will keep coming back. Highly recommend for lunch.

Excellent food and service. Very child friendly and for family. Ample parking space at the back of the restaurant as well as off street parking on North Dee Side Road. A good pub to hang around and watch some games on tele.
