Had such a lovely time at the boozy brunch! Fantastic service and a great burger. Will definitely be coming back

Had the burrito bow from the venue and an hour and a half later I had to vomit. I’d say the rice was old or was kept in the same container with old rice/ wasn’t washed. Still miffed that I paid 18£ to vomit it out. Stay away from the food or go for a safe bet with fries.

Ate a chicken burger here once and both my friend and I and got stomach flu for almost a week. Also they forced their employees to leave good reviews.Don't eat here

Went with daughter 19th Jan 22. Arrived around 6 pm, got a table not far from the door which was screened, clear plastic roller screens between the tables. We had the wings and some bargain cocktails. All good. Must comment on the Covid control - which was excellent. People were attended to as soon as they came through the door. The place was quite full (Wednesdays and Saturdays the busiest days of the week by the way) so it pays to book a table. Download the app so you can get food and drink from the table. The control during our brief stay (about 1 1/2 hours) was the best I've seen, and I felt very safe sitting there eating and drinking.

Good pub, great location. App wasn't working on the night I went and without promotions, prices can definitely leave the realm of "student friendly" but good nonetheless.

Place is always busy. So, it's difficult to get a table. The food is good and the ambience is amazing. Good place to come to on weekends or sport days.

I’ve been to the Bobbin before and it was a decent pub. Pretty loud, college scene which is great. Previously I had fairly slow service but they’re always super busy and having worked on a restaurant myself I understand completely. However, today I went on Wing Wednesday with a group of friends and we were served 26 completely burned cauliflower wings. I can’t even imagine serving a customer burned food at my workplace and the fact that a manager put the burned food down on our table without a second thought really makes me worry about the rest of the restaurant if the culture is one where this is acceptable even to management.Again, I don’t think it’s always this bad but today I was really disappointed.

Been going here for years on and off since being a student. It's a nice wee pub, with a good selection of beer. Food has been really hot or miss over the years and the menu seems to change every time I go in. But they at least seem to be trying to diversify alongside offering the standard pub grub.

Popped in to the Bobbin for some lunch. The menu had plenty to offer and was great value for money. They had a fantastic range of beer and craft on draught and Gavin was very helpful in recommending a great local beer.

Great place to have drinks. Surprisingly the food here is amazing too!! Highly recommend the wings and chicken burgers. Their chicken are amazing and juicy. On Wednesdays they have wings for only 25p each! The service was great and fast. The staff were friendly. It's a friendly, nice, student dominated bar. Can be very busy in the weekends. The place has quite a lot of tables and chairs but will be full in the weekends. Will definitely be coming back for the wings on Wednesdays!
