The Holburn Bar in Aberdeen City

Takes some time on occasion to get your pint via the app, no problem there if they're busy. Waited 40 minutes for 15 chicken strips. On another pint, via the app...,and enquired where my food was. The chap came back a minute later and cheerfully said they were waiting on the pass!I asked, how long,Oh, I'll just go check and core temperature check them...; They were 60s on the pass and 67°C core...Hmmm, I'm pretty sure if they were cooked in accordance to Scottish legislation they'd have been cooked to over 82°C and would, I hope, be significantly higher in temp than 67°C when probed after 60s. Don't lie, just say we'd been forgotten about, no apology, no check back. If I get food poisoning I'll be in touch.

Great place for watching the rugby today, lovely food and good drink. Lovely hard working staff.

Traditional and well-located pub.Reasonable prices and honest food.Don't expect to eat Sunday roast from a Michelin restaurant, but it is tasty good option n Aberdeen.The staff are wonderful... all very polite and helpful.

Just moved to the area decided we would eat here for the whole week started 3/1/22 enjoyed every mouthfulSaturday was just breakfast all other days dinner culminating in the Sunday roast.I can recommend any day to visit and eat because I’ve done it.The staff are friendly and helpful the food is good at reasonable prices.The steak night Thursday was very cheap I doubt you could get a steak that cheap anywhere in the city.

My wife and I visited for a few drinks to celebrate our anniversary and were recommended to try here by our reception team. The service was some of the worst I've ever experienced from hospitality! It was so chaotic and shambolic that we waited 45 mins to get our first drinks served. When we complained, we got a huffy blond team leader (sorry forgot your name) who appeared like she couldn't care less about what we had to say. Maybe we went when they were still in training but overall there are probably better places to go when in Aberdeen. Disappointing experience and will try elsewhere next time

Very lovely staff, very good deals on very nice food. For a long time there was A deal where you get two breakfasts and dinners for the price of one, and this was such a good deal. The food is very good quality British food. The atmosphere is very relaxing and welcoming for all age groups . old , young and middle aged. the staff are amazing. They also have good student deals.

Staff are absolutely spot on with covid. Cleaning down, wearing masks, even when not in close contact.As much as I’m in a pub with bampots all around I feel safe due to the staff attitude.Be honest it’s not what I expected but respect to both the Holburn bar and also the company who runs then. Bellhaven? Punch?

Quite enjoyed the experience of ordering food and drink from an app, felt like the future had finally arrived! The nachos were quite nice too. Lots of screens about if football’s your thing.

I run a pool club here at the holburn bar for adults with support needs. The staff, the manager and everything connected to this bar is fantastic. The staff are friendly, helpful and supportive of this club. The manager Paddy has made everything possible.I would recommend this bar for all types of visits, business, personal, family, solo xThanks for everything guys xxx
