The Marcliffe in Aberdeen City

Excellent welcoming and service.Bisque had the right flavours and aromas, delicious. Could not fault the duck and presentation. All round service of high quality.

Cosy lounge area where you can sit and chat. No pressure placed on us to move. Attentive staff. Fireplace creating a warm ambiance.

Fantastic hotel and excellent customer service. The staff worked tirelessly to meet all our demands and requests for my cousin's wedding. Truly appreciate and highly commend all the efforts the staff went through

There for afternoon tea with my Mother in Law. She is 82 and was treating me for my 60th birthday so a big expense for her. Service was very slow and definitely not what we expected from the Marcliffe! Coffee was luke warm as was the tea. Sandwiches were lovely. Everything else was mediocre. Disappointing for the price paid. Wont hurry back!

Lovely afternoon tea served in the lounge. Seating was a bit low making it awkward to eat comfortably. Would have preferred to be seated at a dining table. Nice ambiance.

Very nice, spoiled only by the collection of horror photo's on the piano in the bar.A real who's of dubious individuals ranging from not one, but two Donald Trumps (Snr & Jnr!) Maggie Thatcher, Andrew Neil and too many others to mention.Spoiled a wonderful evening...sad.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights here on a month long trip around Scotland. The staff are friendly and professional, the service is great, and the food is excellent. It was really pleasant to have a professional staff but also one with a sense of humor. The rooms are spacious and great showers for guests. The drinks are a little pricey, but well made.

Always nice, food is ace, very attentive staff. A bit disappointed that the log fires were not lit, would have been warmer as the night was cold and wet, I love it when the fires are on,but I suppose the management didn't want to make it to comfy (we might not have wanted to leave, ha ha.

If I could give them 10 out of 5 stars I would! An excellent venue for a special occasion or if you feel like a bit of a spoil! The venue is absolutely beautiful and the staff are excellent. The Pimms cocktail was so good and the coco loco mocktail was also very yum! The lobster is highly recommended. The restaurant is spacious and quiet. Loved the Marcliffe and would definitely return if I came back to Aberdeen! Do yourself a favour and give them a visit!

Great venue, was here for a wedding early July 2021, and it was exceptionally well managed. Good Covid measures in place and managed discretely by the staff, without being over the top.Meal was fantastic, will be returning soon just for the food alone, and will look at booking one of the dine and stay options.Great car parking, not cramped and well maintained.
