I spotted the restaurant a year ago when we were at cup downstairs was keen to try. It didn't have many reviews then. Finally managed to get to the restaurant. Very nice atmosphere and music. Nice staff and service was on time. We had the nachos, buss up chicken and lamb, chickpea callaloo, jerk burger, carribean fish and chips and the lamb pot. Clean plates for all of us. Very delicious food and great portions. Only thing I didn't agree with was the £5 per bottle of wine for corkage and £1.80 per bottle of beer/lager. But would definitely go back just for the food.

Right let's be positive here.... firstThe food was great taco nachos and jerk wings for starters all were good, taco very good... The mains, West Indian beef and lamb pot..... They were both great but the lamb was truly exceptional, and I don't say that lightly. Didn't have dessert as we didn't want the taste to go lol. As for service, we have to be honest, could have been better, slow to order even drinks but polite enough, there was only one other person who came in as we were leaving so atmosphere was a bit of a let down but it was Tuesday? No license which is a little odd nowadays but you can take your own in for corkage. We will def go again as we would have sat in the corridor to eat the food, it is different, exceptional, and just needs everything else to keep up with it. The place needs more support and any foodie will not be disappointed. Lamb pot for ever... But goat mmmm now there's a thought

Love this place! Jerk chicken is amazing, choice of 'rice and peas' or chips and coleslaw. Lamb curry is delicious, meat tender. Staff are friendly. Byob

Gorgeously cooked ox tail (melts in your mouth) in a very warming, slightly spicy, stew. Really great food. Also the flat breads and plantains are amazing also!

Very tasty food. We had the jerk chicken wings which were amazing! The burrito filled up jerk chicken, chickpeas and rice was also the best burrito I've tasted. (There was different names for these dishes which I can't remember).Decor was cool and colourful and it wasn't too busy which was good as its not the biggest of spaces. Waiter was working alone but done a good job handling multiple tables. The only issue was that we didn't get a side dish of cheese loaded fries until the very end of the meal as the kitchen forgot but we got these on the house so I do not mind that at all. We also wanted nachos which were not available but this wasn't a big issue.Overall its a good place to eat in and I may come back again some day with friends in the future.

I've been recommended to come here for a while now on Google maps - menu sounded interesting and there aren't many similar cuisines in Aberdeen. Funky layout and great music adding to the relaxed atmosphere. Food was delicious, I had one of the Carribbean curries which come with 'rice and peas', flat bread and plantain. The lamb pot curry I had was slow cooked and very tender along with a great tasting sauce.I've got a bigger appetite than average so if you're like me I'd suggest adding a side dish to the main if you're hungry. Service was friendly and excellent.

Something a little different from your usual cuisine you can find all over Aberdeen. Nicely decorated, the restaurant offer a good selection of Caribbean style food which, honestly, was tasty and delicious! I would definitely recommend a visit! Great food for a fair price 😋

We just had the most delicious dinner here. Handy central location in Aberdeen and plenty of vegan/vegetarian options. Best of all the staff are so lovely and accomodating! Thank you for an amazing meal, we’ll definitely be back.

The place is lovely inside , friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. We were disappointed with the quality of the meat and the ribs seemed to be the ones you buy in a packet in Aldi or Tesco etc. I had the curry and thought it was delicious. We also had the churros which were lovely. Good prices and I would visit again but not order the ribs.

Cracking little place hidden among the bustle of Aberdeen. Despite the rustic interior and the tacky floors attempting to steal your shoes, the staff are pleasant and the food well worth the gamble. Sampling the Fish Cakes, Buss Up Shut Taco and Sunshine Salad. Great spicy without overpowering your taste buds.Highly reccomend.
