Without doubt the worst takeaway I have ever had in Aberdeen. I told the bloke behind the counter no vinegar on any thing as having stomach ulcers not allowed near the stuff get back to the hotel everything swimming in vinegar white pudding was absolutely disgusting. Probably found there level serving everybody that's leaving spoons at midnight full to the eyeballs and no ti fussy what there eating.

Prompt polite service. Nice fish. Curry sauce not for me.

Got 2 jumbo haddock suppers the other night, best I've had in years, chunky n tasty..

Always has a late shut time which is very handy for late eaters like me. .Really great for fish supper with all the trimmings. My favourite is actually the fishcake supper. Has very good selection of options. Highly recommend the Chip Rolls as an emergency snack .😋Staff are very polite . Before all the restrictions came in , great sit down meals

Chips with cheese and gravy was good. But my double cheeseburger was not great. Why can’t the burger come with something like ketchup or a couple of onions or even a piece of lettuce? That would have made a world of difference and would create repeat business. What do you think Dolphin?

Didn’t like at all!!! Considering the price for single piece of fish and chips, the fish was tasteless and bland. Not a good amount of salt and vinegar on chips. Not recommended at all. For me “Fish & Hook” is a big hit the price, the taste, the quantity everything 10/10

I liked it here. If you like you food battered a great place to go. Mars, haggis and sausage is pretty standard. Deep fried pizza, chip butty with cheese, and red pudding got me curious. I tried the chip butty, and with melted cheese oozing out, really enjoyed it. Not for everyone, but glad I tried it. Sure if I revisit Aberdeen I'll be back to sample something else.

The fish supper was okay, however I think the size of the fish compared to the chips was a bit disappointing and the fish was very greasey compared to other fish and chips I've had. Another thing that surprised me was the fact they spray the vinegar on instead of pouring it so you don't really taste it. The place was pretty clean but could of been cleaner. Overall is a decent fish and chips shop.

First time back in Aberdeen for a long time. Wanted a white pudding supper and remembered that the Dolphin was good. Unfortunately never been so disappointed in a chippy in my life.The chips were white greasy and peelly wally (what there was of them). The white pudding was small and chewy.Overall the whole supper was very small and at £5.30?Bottom line is didn’t matter on the size the whole supper went where it belonged, the bin. Believe me I like my food and it needs to be really bad before I won’t eat it.Sorry but that’s my experience and it won’t happen again here.
