The best in town!! Been coming here for 3 years now and it never fails to impress. There's always a cheery welcome when you arrive and the staff are so helpful.

If you don't agree that this is the best Indian restaurant in Aberdeen then great, it means that I will always be served quicker when I go. It also means unfortunately you have no idea about what makes the best Indian restaurant, the best Indian restaurant. The staff are always nice and friendly, the service is always first class and the food is by far better than any food available from any Indian restaurant anywhere let alone one in Aberdeen. The acid test in my opinion for any Indian is their Lamb Rogan Josh and the Shahbaaz version is amazing. They have the best huge soft fluffy tasty garlic Naans, and pilau rice is plentiful and tastes great. No need for starters or puds as if you have an average sized stomach that's all you'll need. Keep disagreeing with me if you prefer other restaurants so I can always get a table amd takeaway quickly please please please. We'll done Shahbaaz for always keeping up your very high standards 😊😋👏

First visit in a long time and wasn't disappointed! Staff very friendly and service quick. Staff are happy to help and answer any questions about menu. One of the best chicken Karachi I've ever had, spices were delicious, nann is quite big so one does two. Menu tells you what is gluten free/dietary requirements. Definitely became one of my recommended restaurants to visit in Aberdeen

Ok first off, I have never seen a garlic and chilli naan quite as big as the one we were presented with. So if you’re hungry, this is the place to be. Having not visited Shahbaaz before we decided to opt for a few different dishes that were highlighted to us by our server on the night. The food was outstanding and genuinely I couldn’t fault it (apart from one or two elements of the mixed starter being slightly over cooked). The only thing - and it’s a very minor thing - that let this place down for me was the lack of atmosphere. However, we did dine in on a Tuesday night, so to can imagine the weekend would be much busier and buzzing with chatter. All in all a fantastic restaurant in the heart of Aberdeen.

First occasion here & it was very busy but staff were attentive & food was delicious & plentiful. Everything was spotlessly clean .. It was rather cool so I would recommend coming with a cardigan lady's.

This is, by far, my favourite Indian Restaurant of all time. Such fantastic meals and curries served from mild to spicey. The atmosphere is fabulous, staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, and I always leave with a smile on my face. The prices are a little on the expensive side, but certainly worth it. All meals are cooked to order and they offer take out options too.
