I paid ÂŁ7.50 for this disgusting thing. Burnt breakfast. Baked beans was freezing cold too. Would never go again. Daylight robbery.

We came here multiple mornings during our holiday in Ballater at opening before starting our adventures in and around town. Best place for a warm, fresh from the oven homemade scone. Good coffee, and open the earliest of any place nearby. Owners/staff are friendly, welcoming and made us feel like nothing short of family. We bought to go scones for our morning drive back to the airport Saturday since they are closing early this week to go see family. Lovely stop.

Called in for lunch time snack when our coach dropped us off in Ballater for a break. Café had queue outside so joined as locals don't queue for the fun of it in my book. Rewarded with fabulous blueberry & lemon scones. The best ever. Well worth the wait

I visited this cafe with my parents. The lady serving was both rude and unpleasant. It was almost as if she didn't want customers. So we left to go elsewhere and enjoy much better customer service and a warm welcome at the Bridge House Cafe. As we left a local man heard our conversation and spoke to us saying he also finds her very rude. I suggest the owner replaces this staff member. Not recommended and will never return!

Very warm welcome. Lovely coffee and beautiful location. Excellent value as we've experienced some very expensive rubbish coffee and food touring Scotland

·

Friendly staff, superb breakfast. Sat in the sun trap outside in September, what a way to have a morning off. Prices aren’t cheap, but freshly homemade and worth every penny.Excellent coffee. Does Ballater proud

Stopped by for a light lunch and some coffee. Cosy and pretty café with warm and welcoming staff, and outstanding food - couldn't have been fresher and tastier! Thoroughly recommended!

·

Good value for money, not exceptional deserts. Good panini's. Service was fast. Would say 3½ star if was an option.

·

A lovely cafe. They serve an excellent cooked breakfast amongst other items. They also do lots of tasty bites to eat such as the rice crispy square, which is my favourite. Friendly service, They deserve 5 stars!

Delicious breakfast served by very lovely and welcoming people. We had a "big breakfast" and "blueberry & Nutella pancakes" (joys of being a English-Spanish couple). The coffees (dairy and soy cappuccinos) were spectacular! So creamy! The cakes looked very tempting, so we might have to come back!!It was the perfect stop in our road trip. The walk around the cute little town makes the cherried top to the driving break.
