Buchan Braes Hotel - Grill Room in Aberdeenshire

Staff were very helpful, funeral spread was excellent and was kept topped up with coffee and tea

I stayed here recently as I was working in the local area. The staff here were great, so friendly and helpful. I ate breakfast here every day I stayed and everything was cooked to order and very tasty, cereals and fresh fruit were also on offer. I also had my evening meals in the grill room where again all the food was cooked fresh and to order. I tried many different dishes and desserts, all were very very tasty. I didn't take pics of all the food as I was too busy enjoying it! I felt so looked after by the staff whilst having my meals. The room I stayed in was very nice, it was large too. There was a desk with computer ports and minibar in the room. There was also a safe in the room if needed. Boddam lighthouse is only a short walk or drive away too, worth a little walk for some lovely views and fresh air

Just been for funeral tea lovely sandwiches & cakes + loads of tea & coffee, excellent service and very clean toilets, first class.

Food was rather expensive for what you get most of the staff were friendly and professional. The manager Jason on the other hand was extremely arrogant to the point of feeling confrontational at times shame the manager lets the rest of his staff down. The room was decent though there was woodworm in some of the skirting boards room was cleanish! Really need to sort the management and food out though. Not the greatest experience of a hotel.

it was amazing i loved how everyone was nice i liked the food and the location was decent, my kids loved that it was next to loopty loos and went there quite a lot, if I was told that we were going there again I would be happy

Great food, tidy rooms and helpful staff

Staff perfect nothing too much trouble,felt bit chilly on Xmas day night they adjusted heating no problem, restaurant staff excellent. They phoned me after we left to say I had left my scarf they then offered to post it back to meYes fantastic hotel and we only stayed 3 nights but really lovely

Absolutely fabulous, long weekend stay for family wedding, wedding reception also in hotel, from arrival to departure we were made to feel very welcome staff were all fantastic, especially the lady at breakfast, thanks for the nuttella!, the wedding reception was excellent one of the best receptions that we have attended. The food was absolutely amazing from breakfast to dinner in the grill room to wedding reception. The rooms were very nice, will definitely be back, 10/10 thank you
