Chop Chop Express in Aberdeenshire

Never ordered from here before, but had heard really good things. Sorry, but the dish I ordered was not great at all and the only thing edible was the rice. The sauce was far too garlicky, but that was nothing compared to the battered/coated chicken and prawn. No where on the menu did it state that the chicken was battered or the prawns for that matter. The batter/coating was tough and stringy and very unpleasant to eat. My dish didn’t smell to appetising either and the smell actually put me off even more. It was a complete waste of money and the prawn crackers were not great either, some of them were over cooked (brown). Really quite dissatisfied and disappointed with my food order. Doubtful I will order from there again if they have their chicken coated/battered.

I never ever write reviews but because how bad it was tonight I have to.Usually the foood is perfect but I don’t know if it’s a change in chef or it’s an off day but wow!Chips so soggy, chicken I can’t even put in my mouth as it tastes off and the batter so soggy.Given the wrong sauce also so I can’t even cover up the bad taste.It’s enough to stop me from ordering here again.

Chop chop is One of the best Chinese takeaways in Aberdeen along with the royal crown in torry, had a few dishes from there and they've always been nice chop chop and royal crown have remained consistent for years now highly recommend.

Delicious food. Would recommend and definitely get back there again.

I never usually write a review about places especially CHOP CHOP as I have always enjoyed their food and their quick delivery service. But I ordered tonight at 5.55pm and our food didn't arrive until nearly 7pm. This is very unusual as delivery drivers are pretty quick as we live not far from the take-away. Our food was nice but not hot and the chips were cold and not crispy like usual. I think it was a new driver who maybe got lost. I just hope the next time we order we get our usual driver as was pretty disappointing.

I ordered my meal at 6.30 for 7.30 delivery. I received it just after 8pm & it was cold😢 I also ordered an extra BBQ but never got it but I was charged for it. Very disappointed as most of the reviews were good. 1st time I’ve ordered from here 😪😪😪

As we give reviews on Google, we should always recommend the best places we find. I found this hidden gem Chop Chop Express. The Munchie Box for £12.90 is amazing! This Munchie Box is the best in Aberdeen, better than all 12 I have tried in Aberdeen. Plenty of food, well cooked, very clean & open. Give it a try you will love it.

Tried on first day of opening extremely disappointed recieved sweet and sour chicken without sweet and sour sauce was offered a delivery an hour after main meal was sent offered no compensation for having to collect. Went again this evening to order a salt pepper chicken munchie box with extra rice and chips had I known 90 % of the box was chips/ noodles the chicken was cold and tasted bloody this would not have been ordered I would either have gone to eastern eye or the corn hill chip bar bar which are far superior in both quality of food and customer service on the few occasssions I have had to complain in the 15 years I have used their services. Extremely disappointed in both service l, customer service, portions, home delivery and false advertising. If I could have put in a minus score I would have scored at least - 5 for overall review. Due to the fact I cannot post unless I give one star may help to explain the reason restaurants/takeaways are given much stronger reviews than strictly deserved. Beware you actually get what you order/pay for should you choose this restaurant. On the two occasions I have tried them they offer no compensation or apology for lack of service/standard. Very disappointed.

Reasonable prices, great quality food with fast preparation and friendly staff. What more could you want from your neighbourhood Chinese. Worst day of the week is Chop Chop's rest day.Little side story: I looked all over the UK for a Chinese that did Chicken Shreds / smoked chicken the way my old local did. I searched far and wide only to move a few streets away from the one and true shop by coincidence. Try the chop chop chicken shreds if you haven't already, they're gold.

Couldn't be more unhappy.The food was not fresh, the sauce lid was open when bagged, sauce was all over everything, spilt over my clothes. Just clumsy.When I called the shop to complain the man on the phone had no manners and more or less had no clue.I would not recommend this to anybody.
