Excellent coffee and ginger cake a few days ago.

Very friendly service. Delicious normal and gluten-free bakery wares, tea and coffee. We loved it.

Friendly staff, lovely gluten free option, good coffee and tea, so fantastic and delicious!

First visit to Dee-licious. Ordered two toasties and two glasses of water - received one toastie, a water and a tea. Got a refund for the tea and after checking the board, discovered we had just been charged for one toastie, which we just shared when we realised the other one wasn't coming (no time to order another one) The toastie was really nice but a bit expensive at nearly £6.

Worst service I have yet experienced as a customer. And I’ve lived in 7 countries! Which was sad given Banchory is my hometown. Full of family and otherwise fond memories. This happened in late 2019, pre-covid.First of all: verified customer of here, I can provide debit card evidence of eating here.I went to have lunch in Dee-licious, with a friend after climbing Scolty (the local hill walk). The vibe in the café had up until then been casual, with collect your food from the counter protocol, and mums drinking coffees whilst toddlers ate snacks in tupperware. Both my friend and I bought a main meal each, with drinks. However, due to severe food allergies (her being coeliac!), the dessert/tea cake options were off the table for her.Having just walked for two hours in the frost, we were very hungry! She got out a gluten free energy bar after eating her main course, whilst I finished my main course. She hasn’t finished one bite before a member of staff came over and berated her for eating store-bought in the café! Before even giving her a chance to respond we were told that ‘only because I’m feeling kind, that I’ll allow you to finish that’ but that they’d usually ask someone to leave the premises immediately.I was APPALLED, were we paying customers who were addressed like we were naughty school kids. The older female member of staff addressing us was condescending and rude, and I can’t help but feel the fact that both my friend and I are women in our mid-twenties, but look younger, that this member of staff felt she could address with such a absence of respect.I had brought my friend to Banchory to show her my beloved hometown, and after hours of exercise, and what we’d hope with a quiet meal, she ended up being publicly shamed in a café for a snack-bar! Which she only ate because there were no gluten-free options available at the time! I feel bad for all the coeliacs, food allergy, and special dietary requirement customers who have the misfortune to eat at Dee-licious.As for the food, it was mediocre, with limited options for veggies like myself. The staff were brusque, rude, and patronising.10/10 would recommend Dee-licious to someone I didn’t like!

Lovely wee cafe, social distancing measures have reduced the number of available tables but the food and service are as good as ever!

Recommended by a local we met at a bus-stop, we visited Dee-luscious.Very pleasant atmosphere, with a wide selection of food and drinks available. We had bacon rolls which were delicious especially with the Scottish morning roll and lovely brown tea.A very pleasant visit.
