Eat on the Green in Aberdeenshire

From the first hello till we said goodbye, the whole experience was friendly, professional and thoroughly enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble and it was all perfect. Would definitely go back. The food was delicious. Thank you EOTG for a great evening.

Collected a meal from eat on the green today was redeeming a Christmas present voucher from our son, we certainly wasn’t disappointed couldn’t fault anything. Thank you Eat on the Green.

This was the first time we have been here, and while I have always heard good things about it, it exceeded our expectations! The food was fantastic, the service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. We will definitely be back

Had the pleasure of experiencing this restaurant for the first time last night, I have nothing but praise for the service and attention to detail that our party was treated to.I have intolerances to Gluten,Dairy and Soya which gave me a fair bit of trepidation when I looked to dine with their current set menu, however after highlighting the intolerances when I booked I was assured that the menu would be altered to accomodate me, with alternatives added if necessary.We therefore arrived last night and were looked after above and beyond any other restaurant I have dined in before. The atmosphere was perfect and the service second to none, with every course arriving promptly.Where it was impossible to offer me an item on the menu, it was replaced with an alternative or adjusted accordingly to make sure my experience, or enjoyment wasn't affected in any way.The staff served my meals seperately and we knew at all times what plate had been catered for me. Even the dessert was properly catered for and this highly unusual.As the night progressed we were pleasantly surprised to have a table visit from the chef and owner to make sure my experience was up to the same standard as every other diner, which was an unexpected but well received touch.I am always reluctant to try new restaurants as on the whole my experience of eating out with intolerances is very daunting and not always met with the care and attention you would expect in this day and age, this cannot be said of the Eat on the Green or Craig Wilson and his Staff, who went above and beyond my expectations, to make last night one of the best dining experience I have ever had.I would recommend this restaurant to anyone else with intolerances or allergies as a go to experience for one of, if not the best meals around.

Great atmosphere, amazing service and I loved the starters and the desserts. The veggie main was good but it did not surprise me. The cocktails are amazing too! Decently would go back.

As usual a really lovely meal in a truly great ambiance. The staff are attentive but not intrusive and very very pleasant. The presentation of the food is wonderful and I enjoy trying different ingredients. I have never been disappointed in Eat on the Green and look forward to my next visit

This place was exceptional, what a great place to celebrate any event! The service was second to non, the food was brilliant and the atmosphere was so very nice and relaxed. The staff really did impress, I couldn't recommend more!

Superb dinner last night. Great service, nice ambiance, one of the best places to eat in the NE. Not cheap but quality never is.

Best place for fine dining in Aberdeenshire. Food is always of an extremely high standard, and menu seems to rotate on a regular basis.Only complaint from last nights visit, was whisky was ordered and was delivered to the table diluted with water, staff should have asked: what their serving preference was...

We were given a voucher for the 7 course tasting menu with matched wines as a thank you gift. We were welcomed with champagne and canapés to start with. This was followed by an exquisite seven course meal with wines to match. Our waiter Craig talked us through each course and the wine selection explaining why the wines went with the food. It was a wonderful evening in a beautiful setting. It was a really unique experience and we loved every minute of it.
