Famous House Chinese Takeaway in Aberdeenshire

Had sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style. Last night .it was disgusting.it looked like chicken had been flattened .and i have been sick all day .never will use there again 🤮🤮🤮

I phoned in my order, and it was ready by the time I arrived but I was not informed that it is cash only so I had to walk down the street to the Coop to take out cash.Staff where friendly and apologetic about the cash only issue.Food was good.

Staff friendly best food around the area worth a visit. No delivery service but the food quality serperb.

Food is always fresh and service is always top notch. I was introduced to famous house after trying numerous Chinese takeaways and can safely say it is my favourite in Aberdeen.Will add, the lady that takes the orders is always extra cheerful and polite. It’s the little things that count.

Lovely Chinese. Was surprised to find out they serve vegetarian (and vegan) chicken! Never had a bad meal from here.

We had a take away the day it opened and it was amazing! We then had again for my brothers birthday last night and everything was second day old. Chicken was tough and had a funny taste. Big portions but our meal was not great. We all weren’t feeling well last night from it either. Won’t be returning.

I will start by saying the food is ok but the service and wait times are terrible. Called up to place an order to be immediately told, “We are not taking orders goodbye.” Then the guy hung up the phone. Have been to the takeaway before a few times and there is always a huge wait for food most nights over an hour wait. We have resorted to just using the next nearest chinese in Aberdeen as it’s faster to drive all the way in, order it, and drive all the way back than to sit and wait over an hour.

Had this Chinese on a Thursday around 5pm. My wife had had a terrible day and fancied a takeaway. Service was good, starters ok but main meals were disgusting and tasteless Most likely left overs from the previous day but still bad. They should always serve fresh since its the same price, wouid save mixed reviews.Basically my wife only ate half of hers and i threw mine up.The fortune cookies were nice would of only been accurate if they said. "Your Chinese food will leave you unsatisfied and sick"
