Fife Arms Hotel Restaurant in Aberdeenshire

What a lovely venue. The decor and furnishings are really nice, it makes you feel very relaxed. I personally wouldn't pay their room prices as i think they are rather inflated compared to other high profile hotels in both Scotland and England in similar surroundings.I have lived in many countries and stayed in lots of 5 star hotels at lower prices.They won't let you eat in their restaurant unless you are staying in the hotel. I'm glad the London Ritz doesn't apply the same rules, where I have dined many times.On the plus side they do have a public bar which serves quite a nice menu and very tasty meals.

Great room, very quiet. The staff were all super pleasant, the view of the river stunning and dinner was amazing.

Amazing location. Outstanding food. The Art and decor is next level. I also need to add that the staff were unbelievable, A huge shout out to Jamie who introduced my 4 year old son to the kids room and changed everything. His energy and passion for the hotel brand was amazing, thank you Jamie

Beautiful building and nice ambience. Reasonably priced, clean food with a selection of local ales. Hopefully next time I visit the COVID restrictions will have been eased so I can sit at the bar and browse through the whiskey selection.

Enjoyed a delicious meal here with my family. First class food and service. The hotel is an incredible mix of past classical décor and modern design. Highly recommended.

We popped in here for a coffee. You definitely pay for the location, but it was a lovely coffee in a gorgeous building with exemplary service. Looking forward to having dinner here soon.

Our daughters wedding was a fairytale in the most amazing setting! Excellent food, outstanding and very caring service by all staff members! A gorgeously appointed hotel in the centre of town. Ask for the sheepskin lounge which is cosier than the main bar area, to which you may be directed. We visited three times in our short visit in our motorhome. Tea for two with biscuits was £1.50 each, and coffee the next day was no charge when I asked to pay!

Can I move in? Most amazing hotel I’ve ever stayed at! So fun & uniquely decorated. Every square inch is decorated and decorated differently. I can’t imagine the amount of dusting they do! Be sure to walk along the different floors to check out all the themes. My children loved the family room full of toys and entertainment. Excellent service by all staff as well.

Very comfortable and friendly hotel in the heart of the town. The staff were all very helpful and although I’d describe the hotel as “posh” I’d also say it is pretty down to earth and straightforward. Yes, the paintings on the wall are rather good, including an original Picasso, but it’s much more “real” than perhaps I’d envisaged. The food is all very good and the area around is pretty interesting. I look forward to coming back!
