Food is not too bad. The huge frustration is the awful opening times. 7pm closing for a chip shop??!!!??! That's INSANE! A lot of people will work till 6pm and commute or even be held on late at work. These are exactly the people who will want to make up for the disorganised evening by having a quick feed but they're closed at 7pm! The market for a chip shop is to cater for people at meal times and the convenience of take away food is often only needed if the preparation of food yourself is not possible due to shortage of time or delays in your evening. Therefore the need to have a take away is often later than one would otherwise have a non take away meal. Why therefore do they close at the prime of meal time? Such a waste. Also, 21st century and global pandemic, what's with the cash only facility?! Card is easier, safer, lower insurance, more convenient. Food for thought Frank.

Great chips and excellent curry sauce.

Lovely fish supper freshly cooked to order, not pre-done & drying out in a hot cabinet!π Just the right portion size, too! π

Tasty and good sized portions.Had to ask directions to find the place as Google maps show what looks to be someone's front door. Best to follow signs for the main parking in the village which is down a tiny lane and opens into a massive carpark. Chippy is situated here. They were only taking cash when we were there, not sure if this was normal.Staff not great, esp the fryer so lost a couple of stars.

Not nice was looking forward to fresh fish and chips. Unfortunately got a over cooked tasteless fish and greasy cold chips.

Was here a few weeks ago with my other half. The food was pretty good and I definitely couldn't argue with the prices. I also think they're dealing really well with the covid-19 issues with clear places for people to stand and social distance themselves.

The food as fantastic, only fault I had was the server that served me got the order wrong and gave me 2 Chipsteaks instead of a king rib and a chip steak

If the fry cook is the lady with the tattoos it's going to be good. I mean really good. Every time I've had a meal from her it's been expertly prepared and timed. Don't know about Frank, but she's amazing. Additionally, portions are generous the fish is fresh and the chips are on point.

A great fish and chip shop which serves a variety of options. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and the prices are reasonable. Always piping hot when served.
