This is a must see if you are in Aberdeenshire. Excellent tour of the castle with a fabulous tour guide. So many facts and ghostly stories.

Nice place to go for a walk all year round. Not too far to walk round the lake, easy 20-30 minutes or so. Usually see a bit of wildlife, always ducks, swans, geese which you can feed there and occasionally sheep or cows in the fields too. Keeps the kids amused. It has taken a bit of a beating over the winter with the storms but still worth going. Plenty of space for parking and the castle and gardens there too.

Stunning castle with lovely grounds for a walk, home to a large variety of birds.

Emaculatey laid out, guides in every room. Ample parking and lovely grounds and great walk around the loch. Oh and not forgetting the tea room is lovely as well, great food and friendly service.

·

Beautiful castle with very friendly tour guides who are eager to share their knowledge of all this castle has to offer. I didn't take pics inside the castle but here are some of my walk around the lake. Will definitely return.

·

Beautiful castle and a must visit. The gardens and the outside of the castle are free to see, you only need 3£ in coins for the parking (pay and display). Well worth a visit and will surely come back to this magical place.

Lovely coffee and food - seating outside in gorgeous area overlooking the grounds. Extensive walks along the lake are excellent.

Fyvie Castle is an hour’s drive from Aberdeen. The castle is managed by NTS and there’s a parking fee of £3 and entry fee of £14. The castle has a very long history of about 700 years. It has a resident ghost and three curses.

Drove from Aviemore to Fyvie Castle for my first visit in 20 years.Pleasant walk around the walled garden, then on to the castle. Couple of pictures then head for the entrance.A lady passes and enquires about my intention. "We're closed on a Monday!"She asked how far I had come snd took pity! I was shown 3 of the best rooms and given some of the history of the castle's owners.THANK YOU.XXXPs can you see the face in the trees picture?

Brilliant place with enough room to park the car and caravan as we visited between sites. Expert explanations in most of the major rooms made the visit come alive.Fantastic gardens tended by real enthusiastic peopleWell done!
