Garlogie Inn in Aberdeenshire

We had a lovely meal last Sunday at the Garlogie. Lovely food and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. They've had a really tough time with closures due to weather and power cuts recently, we all need to support them as much as we can.

Starter was great but the main course could have been hotter. But the sweet was the one that never happened. The waiting staff gave us the sweet menu but never came back. So we just left.

Absolutely brilliant place to go. Great food and staff are attentive. There is such a great choice for coeliacs too.

Very good service, all staff excellent. Food very tasty and well presented. Prices very reasonable too.

Food was great. Staff excellent and there was no rush to clear you off the table.

Great wee Inn, was visiting the stones nearby (was closed off unfortunately) so we stopped for a wee bite to eat.Service was attentive and all the servers were pleasant and cheery, food when it arrived was hot and plentiful ( I had the mixed grill which was a good bit of eating, and the little ones tomato soup was very flavoursome *better than some 5 star hotels attempts*) clean restaurant and rest rooms that were spotless and a great strong coffee served after meal went down well.Would most definitely return if we ever go back to visit the standing stones when they re open or if in area again.Thank you for the hospitality

Chose this place for my birthday meal because the reviews are good. The staff were welcoming and friendly and thought it would be a great meal. However the food was severely lacking. Undercooked chicken and chips, and mac and cheese that tasted off. Salad was brown and some of the lettuce was definitely rotten. Didn't get a chance to raise this with the wait staff as didn't get asked if the meal was alright. A shame, possibly came on a bad day but definitely will not be returning.Edit* the two stars were because of the staff, not the food. Again, barely got to mention that it wasn't good as the staff were so busy rushing about that I couldn't get a word in about it and the waitress didn't pick up the fact a few bites were only eaten when clearing the table.

What a grand find, first visit and will go again. Food excellant, able to amend menu to own requirements as it is made to order. Staff very friendly and attentive. Ample parking space.
