Nice relaxed cafe. Quick service. Great service.

Greg's always provide good value. Its just a pity they don't have much gluten free for us coeliacs

·

Greg's lives up to it's standards as usual, food is delicious service is fast , could be a wee bit tidier tbh, but that's about it . 4/5 from me.

·

Always a tasty bacon roll and coffee. Staff are really nice too. Always friendly and helpful.

·

Great place for a cheap and quick lunch, Coffee is quite nice!(can sometimes be very strong)

·

Had quick bite to eat just before lunch time ,coffee was great, but the " hot " pie was almost cold ! Luke warm at best , was told that they can't reheat, but surely that's up to the customer to decide not greggs. Will now avoid "hot " pies etc !

Cold sausage rolls. Cold cheese and onion pie.Only good thing was the hot teas !The shelfs were bare hardly any choice of sandwiches.Only 1 person serving on counter. 2 behind the counter doing nothing.1 on the shop floor filling up the drinks.Tables were filthy as were the floor.Bins were so full nobody could throw their rubbish away had to make do with leaving it on the tables. With so many staff doing nothing you would think at least one of them can clean the shop floor !Labelling of the food is all wrong.Croissant trays had sausage rolls on them.Doughnut trays had mince pies on them. You can seriously get fined for that.

Stopped for a quick cuppa and the tables were filthy and laden with other people's leftovers cups etc. When l asked for someone to clear the tables I got a look of disgust and the girl came and took cups from one table and didn't even wipe the table needless to say I did not place an order. I could understand if the place was busy but it WAS NOT but the staff still had time to be chatting behind the counter NOT good customer service or a great endorsement for Greggs (wish I had taken photos)

Strangely, they seem to be unable to keep their hot food actually hot past around 2:00pm even though they are open until 6:00pm. Their filled baguettes generally run out by about 3:00 - 3:30 pm. The staff seem friendly and polite, but have absolutely no sense of urgency, no matter how long a queue is waiting.Their breakfast wraps used to be excellent, but they stopped selling those several months ago (that appears to be at all Greggs not only this one). This Greggs does not offer any of the wraps shown on the Greggs website as menu items.I was initially disappointed when Greggs replaced the locally run cafe that prepared fresh food, and nothing I have seen since has changed my feelings on that.

Luke warm or cold. That's your options. I asked if my food could be heated so it was hot and I was told that they are not allowed to do that. A 'bakery' that can't serve hot pies... New one on me. But that's cool, because there are 3 shops nearby that sell cold baked goods. And they're all cheaper than Greggs.
