Happy Plant Garden Centre and Tea Room in Aberdeenshire

Not such a large area of pet supplies. Most things far to expensive for me but a lot of nice thing to look at. Bought an icecream.

Found this place by accident. What a wee gem. Great selection of gluten free in restaurant. Friendly staff. Lots of lovely plants and good selection of gifts and home items.

Excellent cafe,friendly staff and good quality food. The garden centre is much like any other overpriced.

This is a lovely place to shop if you want items that are different for a gift. There is a great selection of cards as well. I think some of the things on sale are a bit pricey but would definitely go there for the upmarket items and unusual things. I didn't go into the outdoor plant section this time. My only complaint is they have filled the disabled parking bays near the door with furniture with the result my husband couldn't visit with me, too far to walk.

Love the new ranges into store especially now that there is more stock, layout looks great. Restaurant is always good and it's so nice to have a selection of dietary requirements catered for without hassle. Younger girl clearing tables was very efficient and pleasant

What we had to eat was good. The selection of scones and fancy pieces wasn't good. The price has gone up a lot including the childrens items too. Seems a bit expensive for what you get. There used to be lot of choices , seem to have cut back a lot.

Lovely restaurant, cakes are beautiful and soup is homemade style, which is always yummy. Clean and setup well for Covid restrictions. Plenty of plants and also home goods and treats to buy.

“Eye watering prices” for a plate of soup. And a slice of cheesecake . Think others would agree. Reduces the choice for my elderly client whose on a budget , - 😪

Used café /restaurant for brunch. Pleasant, friendly & helpful staff, food really good, served quickly, considering covid restrictions.Good menu for all, meals, snacks, cakes, coffees, teas, ect. Shop/garden centre sells usual goods/ products, gardening, homeware, crafts, seasonal items etc, and just obviously lots of Christmas lights & decorations. Hopefully they will get the aquarium center here, the same as Inverness branch. Lots of parking and disabled access.Well worth a visit.

In the centre of Mintlaw the main roundabout has good signage to the Happy Plant centre. Mintlaw has this superb Garden Centre with a full range of gardening products as well as a clothing range and at this time of year the christmas stock is appearing. There are many gift items throughout. A well stocked cafe is a useful addition with a good selection of meals.
