They could do better chips I reckon. Good set up with the outdoor seating.

For location it was OK. We had fish suppers, scampi, chicken nuggets and sausage, all of which we’ve had better elsewhere but all in all, it was OK. Price, taste, quantity etc was adequate but nothing to rave about. Premises itself was quite basic and lacking any modernisation in the last decade but it is a village after all.

Would not eat in this place even although I was starving food is disgusting

Great lunch/chippy stop.... nice cuppa tea

This is a regular meeting point for a group of motorcyclist I ride with, the staff at Hungry Highlander are always more than willing to accommodate. We obviously let them know in advance of our intentions to meet so they have plenty stock. Great staff, excellent food, that's why we keep returning.

I wandered in on a damp rainy evening looking for a good feed without much fuss and boy, was in for a treat. There's only one word to describe the fish and chips here and that's historic! Has to be the best fish and chips I've had in years. The place itself could benefit from a refurb to make it more appealing and better reflect the quality of the food served. If you're visiting Braemar, pop in, you won't regret it.

Do not visit this place, £7.50 for a cheese burger which the cheese is worth penny's and they charge £1, with said burger yyou get one tiny thin sliced tomato and one very thin piece of lettuce and the greese is dripping from the burger to, the owner has an issue with people exempt from masks, genuinely I have 50% lung power due to 2 very severe asthma attack which left me in fear I was dying. But his attitude was he is exempt but he wares on so everyone should.I will not have my health ducted by another's especially a complete stranger. I asked the woman behind the counter why such small salad with the burger to the reply.... Well what more do you want, chips was dry and disgusting and charged over 2 pounds extra for the meal.Simply put you get more value for money at your local mcdonalds and that says everything in itself.Avoid.

It's ok. Nothing special. Food left a lot to be desired. Chips were as hard as rock and the chicken was overly moist. All meals had a weird taste, suspect due to oil used. On the more pricey end for a chip shop.

·

One of the best fish&chips shops. We tried haggis and chips, very fresh and tasty. Good price for good food.

·

Top quality fish and chip shop with outside sitting area. Had the Haddock and chips. Huge fish and big portion of chips. Great choice of chippy food. Been here several times and thoroughly enjoyed the food each time. Long may it be here as we will definitely be back.
