After a lovely evening on the beach .. my partner and myself thought it would be a lovely treat to have fish and chips from our local fish bar.Unfortunately after paying and returning home and opening our scampi and chips and haddock and chips …. We were well dissatisfied and disappointed, paying £12 we found very little to be happy about poor quality scampi..( could of got better from Iceland) partners haddock was reasonable but very little chips . And over done and loads of little bits .. I think the Friday night fish suppers will be from Inverurie from now on

I place a order with them only got after for my order Correct ask for chicken burger supper and they give me beef burger Instead will not be go back to they again

The length of the wait suggested the food was cooked to order. All red puddings I have had elsewhere have a degree of moisture, i.e. fat, in them. This one was dry to the point of being tasteless and not the least enjoyable. The chips and fish had a look of being pre-cooked and then heated up in oil that was not hot enough. I'm not saying that was the case, but that was how it looked. Overall, very disappointed.

First time i have been to Meldrum fish bar as i live in Kintore. Well worth the drive, will definitely be back again. Up there with the best chipper i have had 👍Oh and great prices too, much cheaper than anything in Inverurie.

Wait is quite long with orders placed on telephone taking precedence so you seem to be pushed back in queue constantly by telephone orderers arriving. Quality of chips is good. Fish is OK but batter has changed and is very rubberry instead of the usual crisp batter. Friendly staff.

Fist visit to this chip shop. Both myself & my husband had chicken fillet supper. I had small portion (3 lrg homemade fillets). Hubby had reg. 5 lrg fillets. Must say it was the best chick fillets we hav had & great chips too & will def go back.. soon !!
