We had a lovely meal the mac'n'cheese was really good. Toilet facilities good and clean. We sat outside to eat service friendly and quick even though the place was busy.

Great hot chocolate. Falafel and houmous was a bit underwhelming, both dry and tasteless. The lady that served us, the older one, was a bit blunt and could benefit from being friendlier when serving.

Went for breakfast a few days back and wasn't the greatest hash brown beans and toast was good I'll give them that. The egg was undercooked raw sausages in the middle and bacon didn't taste right service wasnt the greatest either lot of young servers standing talking. We mentioned about the raw sausages as my daughter had a butty and they took that off but not once did we get asked how our meal was. Won't be back and certainly won't tell others to go.

Packed out small resaurant/cafe showing its popularity, which from the food and service we received is well deserved. Food was delicious, and well presented. Rounded menu catering for different tastes, and well thought out.The staff, given the covid rules, were efficient, caring, and friendly.A gem of a place in difficult times.

We visited Molly’s Cafe Bar at 11:45am on Thursday 26th August 2021, we had cockapoo Trixie with us, a decision to lunch at a dog friendly place would be perfect to enhance our visit to Stonehaven, hence Molly’s seemed like a good choice .A friendly courteous young waitress met us as we arrived seated us and took our drinks order, advising that the lunch menu is not available till 12 noon, drinks arrived 5 minutes later and the waitress took our food order.Trixie cockapoo enjoyed a cool drink from the water bowl provided for dogs and sat under the table in the shade as the sun shone high in the sky , we enjoyed our seating outdoors.12:05pm our order of Fish and Chips (Battered Haddock) for me with Duck in Hoisin Sauce wrap with chips and salad for my friend arrived .Initially I was impressed with the portion on my plate of fish and chips, until eating the over fried fish became a task , cutting through the batter resulted in crunchy bits of batter falling on the plate, no chance of eating it with a fork other than to swoop the cornflake like pieces with the side of the fork like a spoon, the fish itself was bone dry , really dry, £13:50 for this is outrageous , the person frying , prepping and serving this knows this yet they served it to a paying customer , unforgivable .My friend enjoyed her meal , I must admit the wrap was well filled and her glass of Rosé was served quickly and very much enjoyed .We finished with two Latte’s and one Sticky Toffee Pudding, the dessert was well received , more than adequate and worthy of the price asked, thumbs up from my friend .As we ate at our outside table a passing elderly woman spoke to a waitress to enquire about disabled toilets location for her friend , the waitress advised that the nearest one was a distance away and offered the use of the Cafe’s disabled toilets, the lady stated “but we won’t be eating here” the waitress said that’s “No Problem, Your More Than Welcome To Use Our’s” well done to that fine young waitress and Mollys Cafe policy, a moment later a very appreciative elderly woman with walking difficulties made use of the facilities .In summary , a nice well positioned Cafe on the beachfront with fine views over the harbour , when the sun is shining it’s great to sit outdoors like we did, dog friendly ( I never expect to see a dog sitting indoors as people eat ), water bowl appreciated for dogs, great friendly service, offer of toilet use for non customers is magnificent , prices on a par with other establishments offering this service , we left happy though Haddock at £13:50 chewing like a biscuit of dry cornflakes was poor , hence the three stars ( chips, salad and slaw perfect). Will I rush back to Mollys next time I’m in Stonehaven - NO - will I revisit - Definitely .

Lovely fish and chips on the seafront, getting a takeaway was a struggle so we sat outside and had it here.Fish was bang on but the chips weren't like chippy chips, more pre cut oven chips.Really tasty though and plenty of everything.I would definitely call again

Great place for a meal, drinks, or coffee and cake. The cakes are amazing and the food looked great. The atmosphere inside was really lovely as the decoration is really good and you have a great view of the sea.

Very impressed, a wee gem of a find. Staff were friendly and helpful. Drinks served with food quick to follow and it was delicious. Decor is chic and clean, without being fussy. Ladies loo was spotless, reasonably priced. Not dog friendly. Overall a chilled, delightful Saturday morning, will definitely be back👍🏻
