Morgan McVeigh's in Aberdeenshire

Lovely scone & cuppa, friendly staff. No oat milk for my favourite coffee tho.....get with it Morgan McVeigh's, oat milk is the way forward!!

Food was very good , but the staff behind the counter could show a happy face which also brings people back . SORRY !!

Nice place in a very rural setting. Enjoyable views of the hillside so never noticed if the fire was on ....can't remember if it was there because our company was so intoxicating! Food was average, had better but it was freshly prepared. Reasonable cost but the place looks dated now. Nothing really wrong with the experience but there are newer more up to date alternatives.

Superb quality breakfast

Love Cullen Slink? This was the worst I've ever had. Watery with almost no fish. Coffee was cold. Awful.

Nice stovies and they had haggis, keeps and tatties for Burns night. Lovely home bakes and shop with clothes and toiletries and jam and chutneys.

Enjoyed brunch with friends. Tasty food choices and helpful and friendly staff. The restaurant and shop were all clean and tidy. An enjoyable visit.

We were there for coffee and cake. The cake was okay, I had the lemon tart which was not bad and my partner had the gluten free choc orange cake, which was super rich and tasty.The coffee however was a little weak and my flat white and my partner's latte were indistinguishable. Not a bad place overall and makes for a good recovery spot after a long walk in the winter with the enclosed fire in the centre of the room.

We have stopped at Morgan McVeighs today after our morning's walk at Bennachie. Food was delicious, we managed to sit outside as the weather was nice. What a great place to stop for meal or just coffee and cake.
