What a gem of a place! The most amazing fish and chips I've ever had in my life. So glad I found this on our drive through. Huge portions, an extremely friendly staff. Exactly what two weary travelers needed!

Lovely fish, tasted so fresh and the batter was perfect. Also had a white pudding which had the traditional moist taste that's hard to find. Also had a pizza which was freshly made which a good base and generous toppings. The chips were a great texture, just slightly lacking in taste.

A small hidden jewel! Take out only -- no sitting area. Fish and chips are great, but they also serve pizza, burgers, and fried chicken strips. Everything comes with chips.

Totally reliable, have collected food here on behalf of Balmoral residents for many years. "Someone special" is often impressed (although I don't see Her Majesty eat), I merely get a "thanks for the excellent food"...which is good enough for me.Thanks Phoenix!

Absolutely fantastic, food was made to order but was still ready quick. And I honestly haven't had a better chip supper in a long time.10 out of 10!

The only chippy in the village so it’s that or nothing got a good selection but I was a bit disappointed with it 26 chips and a few bits in the bottom and the fish was abit dry at £4.50 is this good value or not

Have only good things to say about this place. Chips were large and tasty, cod was thick and fresh. Below average portions for £7.50, but it filled us up nonetheless. Scampis absolutely hit the spot and curry was fantastic. Would love to return for more. Haven't had good fish and chips in Scotland in a long time.

This place has a great selection on their menu, pizza, burgers and all the usual chip shop favourites. They also have gluten free batter available for fish or chicken and have gluten free pizzas as well as gluten free macaroni cheese and chips. The staff assured that the gf food was cooked separately.The service was quick and the food was reasonably priced. Everthing freshly cooked to order. The gf batter was very good as was the fish and the chips were very tasty too. Portion size was generous. Can't wait until we get the chance to visit again
