If you have a chance to stop there you really should, great coffee and generous portions. Staff were happy to help which made it a pleasant brunch.

Stopped for an Americano along today's Deeside cycle route. Good coffee, ample bike parking and friendly staff. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely setting with a handful of dedicated parking spaces. The cafe is spacious and well lit, with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Food options seemed a little limited for lunch and were fairly standard fare, but staff were friendly and accommodating, willing to suggest alternatives they could make. For vegan food: there was a vegan sausage roll or vegan sausages. On request they made me a vegan salad. There was a vegan flapjack available and vegan dairy alternatives for coffee. The coffee was very nice and prices were mid range. They were child and dog friendly.

Food was absolutely fantastic but the service let it down. Walked in and it was pretty unclear and disorganised what the system was, if we order up at the till or sit down, no member of staff acknowledged us for a good couple minutes while we browsed the menu at the till behind a couple in front of us. When they eventually did they told us to sit at a table and they’d come and take our order, which took another few minutes. Once ordered food did come pretty quick but after we’d eaten we wanted to order a traybake (we already told the staff member), but we waited in excess of 15 minutes from when we had finished eating until I eventually had to walk up to the till and tell them we had been sitting a while waiting to order the traybake, the guy hardly seemed apologetic. Again it took another 5 minutes for someone to come over and take the order, during which time we very very nearly didn’t bother as we didn’t want to give them more business with this poor service

Wonderful coffee shop. Great location. Perfect for a walk from banchory to Milton along the Dee. V. Nice staff. Thanks. Will be back.

Excellent selection of lunch options (sandwiches, wraps, all day breakfast sandwiches/rolls, soups and specials), to take out or eat in. Good selection of vegetarian and vegan options, gluten free bread/rolls and separate utensils used. Brilliant coffee, as well as hot chocolates, teas etc. Small shop onsite, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Awesome little place we stopped at after climbing Clachnaben. Perfect pit stop with lots of seating inside and out and a friendly and welcoming team! We had take-out hot chocolates this time but we will for sure be back to try more on the menu, like the pancakes which looked epic.

Ride past this place. Bad tea (milk with a tea bag floating in it). The sausages in my roll were barely luke-warm. Rude staff.

Visited today for brunch. My first visit, but others in our group had been before. Ordered the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. Nice ambiance and welcoming staff but I'm sorry to say food disappointing. Pancakes arrived with banana instead of bacon, but this was quickly remedied. Correct order was a good portion with food cooked well but absolutely swimming in maple syrup making it really soggy. It would have been perfect if maple syrup had been in a small pot on side of plate to be added as required. Others is group enjoyed their various different brunch choices and coffee was apparently good.

Visited today for coffee and cake. Inside and outside seating very busy due to the holidays but we were quickly shown to a table. Service was impeccable from start to finish. Coffee and cake fab too. Top marks, highly recommend!
