Scott Skinner's in Aberdeenshire

We've been looking for a place to take our family and friends for sometime now around Deeside. We like proper food that taste great and doesn't break the bank. Everywhere we've looked at seems to serve that posh looking stuff that costs a fortune and most of the plate is empty leaving you hungry and broke.Scott Skinner's is a proper pub/restaurant that has a warm welcome, friendly staff, clean and comfortable and serves great food. My parents enjoyed themselves and we all had a great time. The steak pie was fantastic which three of us had, and my wife loved the scampi and chips, the puddings were also faultless. We will definitely be making this our regular stop for dinning out and for taking friends and family when they visit. Thanks for your hospitality.

Excellent. Warm & cosy with great atmosphere. Food was very good (liver & bacon mmmmm), fine selection of drinks Inc two real ales. We sat by fire with Cheltenham racing in TV...life doesn't get much better. Oh, and did I mention the friendly staff👍. A fine place well worth visiting.

My son and his partner invited me there. I expected good pubfood and was surprised to find it even better. The food was perfect and nicely arranged. Could have been a little more. 😅 I will sure come again, next time I visit my son.

Lovely safe surroundings. There was 3 of us & all had different meals. Absolutely 1st class food. Staff very helpful & very friendly. Definitely be back.

Three of us had lunch and no-one was disappointed at all. The service was friendly and helpful, the food was good and the wood fire was welcoming. Highly recommend

Really tasty food, well presented in a lovely atmosphere. Loved the coal fire! Good house Merlot as well. Win win!

The Restaurant was very busy but we got our drinks and food order very quickly. Staff came frequently to ask if we needed anything. Food and service were excellent.

Very good pub food and friendly service. We miraculously managed to get a table for 2 on a Friday evening which was very appreciated. It's definitely better to book in advance. The evening menu is extensive and reasonably priced. We had the roast chicken, bacon and skirlie dish and a lamb curry. Both portions were huge. The food was very tasty and freshly cooked. The place was very busy and the staff were doing their best to be attentive. Overall, we had a nice experience.
