Great little place. Good food as well. Breakfast a little pricey though

This place is by far up there in the high ranking places to eat, food is amazing, staff well trained and very well behaved using the proper etiquette with their customers, presentation wise food was first class.

I’ve been staying at this gorgeous wee hotel for 2 years and right through covid times. Bedrooms are cumfy, the food is out of this world, all the staff are amazing and standards are super high. Seriously well worth a visit…it may look quirky online or from outside but trust me you will find it hard to beat this place!

Went there tonight for first time, had a lovely meal and staff were so friendly ☺️ and very helpful we didn't even need to get off our seat from start to finish :) was a small delay in my daughter's dessert but this was only because they were rushed off their feet, which shows just how good their food is ☺️Only downside was there wasn't a big choice to choose from the special board but the food we had chose (carbonara) was amazing.

Great staff couldn't do enough to help, food out of this world everything was just perfect for once I even had a pudding and so so glad I did the one I chose was finished staff suggested another and to say it was excellent is an understatement

Good food done right. Worth a visit, service was excellent and menu was varied to meet all tastes. Deserts were the highlight of the menu. Exceptional

What a gem.The interior is lovely and bright, the staff are super friendly and helpful but the food is the star. Wow.As a starter I had the crispy hens egg, with warm potato salad and cider veloute. The egg was wonderfully runny, with the peppery rocket. My loin of pork was beautiful with a delicious deep, rich flavoured gravy and the creamed cabbage was honestly a surprise, absolutely packed full of flavour. For dessert, lemon posset with raspberry sorbet and chantilly cream. Wonderfully creamy and sharp with the lemon and raspberry, sweet textures from the meringue and candied lemon peel. It was everything I could do not to lick the glass it was served in.All in all an excellent visit. Everyone raved about the food. Extensive drinks menu with some great sounding cocktails too. Definately a must go.

A little gem. We had a meal in the restaurant yesterday evening. I had one of the specials: pan seared halibut, spring onion mash with a light cheese and seafood sauce which was delicious. My husband and daughter had the fried haddock and chips and said it was light and crispy and very good. The staff were great and couldn't have been more helpful. This is not the first time the family has eaten here. Will look forward to returning.

Fantastic little hotel, the rooms are very modern, smart and clean, the executive rooms (2) are bigger with a super ensuite . The staff all very friendly and welcoming and the food is really top notch. The hotel is well situated with great sea views, truly this place is well worth a visit and I would certainly stay there again.
