Ship Inn in Aberdeenshire

Beautiful setting right on the harbour. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Food was absolutely delicious, seafood is a must!

Ate at Captains Table food was ok-ish but Cullen Skink was worst I've ever had. Very poor and expensive.

A place for the locals this place was lively on a cold Saturday afternoon. Semi decent whiskey selection and a great Guinness pour. Service was attentive and interesting to listen to the banter between the regulars.They allow dogs inside which may or may not be to your liking

The Ship Inn is a wonderful restaurant located overlooking the Stonehaven harbour. The food is really delicious especially the gourmet beef burger and their seafood platter. The food are all freshly prepared. We dined here for lunch for three days during our stay. The staff are friendly and food arrived pretty quick. We would recommend this place to anyone who visits Stonehaven.

Lovely restaurant, 1st time visit for me and had battered fish & chips which was awesome 👌 Can't wait to go back and try something else but will be hard not to go for the fish & chips again!Excellent service by friendly helpful staff, no hesitation giving this place 5 stars. Highly recommended 👌

Great home made food, with a large mix in the menu. Good selection of real ales and tap beers, with a nice range of Malt Whisky's. Very nice friendly staff 👍🏽

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The meal was lovely and very well presented and prepared. As we booked sat outside ,they couldn't have been more accommodating. Would definitely return .

Stopped in by chance for lunch today . Great staff and food was exceptional can recommend mussels or the haggis starters - we had mixed grill and the fish burger both fantastic but also saw many other dishes going out all looked amazing and the prices are very reasonable. If your in stonehaven don't miss out.

We had breakfast here this morning and can’t rate it high enough. I had scrambled eggs with bacon on sourdough toast - the eggs were fluffy and light. My husband had the Scottish breakfast and he said it was one of the best he had tasted and on a par with what we have had in Edinburgh. The staff were friendly and attentive. We will certainly eat here again when back in Stonehaven.
