Tandoori Haven in Aberdeenshire

We got very nice dishes, plates and everything pre-heated and nicely served. Not your fancy romantic restaurant set-up as it’s rather outdated but the food was well worth going there

I worked here for near about 4 months in 2013. Happy to be a part of Tandoori Haven Restaurant family. Special thanks to the owner uncle for his lovely care.

Buffet night ordered from menu ,the freshest cooked food was the nan bread ,ordered onion barggi and tandoori mix .ordered blackcurrant and water at a cost of £3.30 this was a little shock.The service was good a shame the standards have dropped at the moment for the food quality.

A chance drop in on the way to Aberdeen. Fish Pacora and Tandori fish starters were both great, the North Indian dish and South Indian Exotica were fab in different ways. The staff were friendly and service good. Overall, an unexpectedly good way to end the day.

Had my first meal in a Restaurant hooray, staff take covid rules seriously, nice choices loved the lamb very tender, packed with flavour stuffed partha delicious as was the Saag Aloo highly recommend for end of lockdown meal.

Not so impressed. I would say nice food presentation but not so great on taste. Service was not great either with one instance of forgetting our drinks, taking nearly 10 minutes for another order of drinks to arrive and nearly 50 minutes for our food to arrive. It was a Saturday night but it didn't get really busy until 20 minutes after we had ordered. Also the staff need to learn to smile and be more approachable. 2 of them just looked stressed and unhappy.Out of 5 main dishes we felt 2 were very bland and 2 more were average. One was so bland we left it. Only one dish was really enjoyable. Staff noticed the uneaten dish and adjusted the bill after our feedback. Garlic naan lacked garlic or butter too. Just a hint of flavour. How can you get that wrong?Disappointing as the previous reviews are what pulled us in.

Traditional Indian restaurant appropriately decorated and with authentic music playing in the background. Good selection of dishes which can be cooked with your favourite meat, chicken or vegetables. Vegan options available as is alcohol free Indian beer. Quiet on a Monday evening in December, and staff are friendly and helpful.

We have been visiting Stonehaven caravan site for many years now & almost every visit has included getting a takeaway from this place. We are never disappointed, the food is excellent & I think the special thing about it is the welcome we receive from the staff. We are always offered a drink while we wait & upon leaving you are always taken to the door & bid farewell which is a nice touch. If you are staying at the caravan site then delivery is available however we like the stroll there & enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant
