Super fresh food - slightly on the pricey side and a fairly brisk service, but always tasty. Everyone sits in their car and enjoys the view of the water - worth a wee detour off the bypass.

Liked the sustainable, fish & packaging - food was tasty and freshly cooked. Note need to order online using website or app due to Covid restrictions - service was efficient.

Fish was very good, flaky yet stuck to the batter, was well fried and crunchy. Also ordered scampi, also crunchy and fried well. The chips however, were very subpar, likely due to timing in the kitchen they were left in the box for too long. Lukewarm and soggy I was lucky to have ordered the curry sauce which saved the day. You can't be lacking on the chips. As a side note and not factored to rating you cannot (as of Feb 22) order at the shop, you either have to order via a website or app which I find to be out of turn. Requiring people to handover personal and credit card information to a 3rd party for some fried food is a bit cheeky

Went to try and buy a bag of chips from here to eat beside the beach and was turned away by staff because I hadn't pre-ordered online, and that even if I ordered online now I'd have to wait 40 minutes. For a bag of chips. The guy even managed to keep a straight face while he told me this. Impressive.

Fish and chips - chips nice quality and cooked well. Fish was good. But could have been bigger for the price. The Batter lacked some flavour however I've had worse.

This was a bit disappointing. We had high hopes but it came up short. Ordered as a takeaway. I had scampi and chips with a curry sauce and my husband had fish and chips. The scampi I had was burnt, and the chips tasted a bit odd, like they had been cooked in old oil or oil that is used for everything. The fish was average and the curry sauce was nice.

Fish was delicious, chips were okay. The half portion was perfect as we were not very hungry. Very friendly service.

Acceptable but not great, batter started to become soggy really quickly despite being freshly fried. Slightly more pricey at £8.50 for a standard portion of fish and chips. Also slightly annoyed at being charged 10p for the paper bag that I wasn’t given a choice to decline and didn’t need

If you’re looking for an authentic and fantastic fish and chips shop - this is the one you’ve been searching for. Both fish and chips were hot and cooked to order and tasted great. The chips where crispy and fluffy, and the fish had a perfect batter that held well to the fish.As the food is packaged they will add salt and vinegar to your fish and chips. I would ask for a bit extra salt next time. The tartar sauce was great - despite being an additional charge. And the mushy peas were great. With the chip shop being across the street from the beach, I wish I was here in summer and could enjoy my meal there. There was plenty of nearby street parking for your needs. When I’m in the area I will be back for this amazing meal.

This was my favorite food that I ate while on my trip through Scotland and the best fish and chips I've had anywhere so far. The batter was crispy and the fish was nice and flaky. The portions were huge and the price was great too. There can be a line but it moves quickly and the people there are friendly so it's not an issue.
