Nice pub/restaurant. Staff are always welcoming and service is prompt. Would have given 5 stars but food could be improved, in particular sandwiches should be on nicer bread given the price

·

We booked a twin room - modern decorated comfortable cozy room. The food was great - we had the tomato with lentil soup, ribeye steak and chocolate rum mouse - will definitely return if possible.

·

Such a cosy pub, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Delicious food and a few games to play in the bar. Dog friendly and exactly what you need after a walk in beautiful Deeside

·

Really nice atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. One of the best bowls of soup I've ever tasted, was expecting an everyday pub standard. Main meal was really good too, went for their vegan option.

·

Excellent meal with my family. Good menu, well cooked food. Service was on the slow side hence 4 star but they were busy so I can understand why. Would definitely go back.

The Boat Inn much visited by myself and family / friends is consistently welcoming, accommodating and serves delicious food. The staff welcome our children and our puppy dog without it being a bother. Nothing is a bother so effortlessly they serve up consistently good food and drink.

I went to the Boat Inn with my and another young family on New Year's Eve and really enjoyed it. The staff were really friendly, the food was fabulous and promptly served , and there was a decent selection of drinks. All of us agreed that we would return.

Dropped in for lunch and had a great meal. I had the Brie and turkey sandwich and it was a proper slab of Brie, no skimping. Coffee was good too, they have oat milk.

Lovely night away with my partner and our dog. The hotel and bar are dog friendly so of course we couldn’t leave him behind! There’s a river walk right outside the hotel and a few more walks a short drive away.Room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant and then moved to the bar for a few more drinks.Definitely be coming back again.

Have been going here for a number of years now, when on holiday. Have missed out due to covid. Tonight's visit was everything I expected from a well run restaurant - smooth operation. The service was very good and prompt, only a few minutes between courses, which was a welcome period. The food great. I had a lovely tomato soup and bread followed by a Thai chicken curry, very tasty.! Wife had a haddock fish supper, the fish was excellent.
