This place does a fine vegan selection as well as other meals. Would recommend it.

Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant throughout visit, Louisa especially. Food was served quickly and we had Steak Pie and a Burger and they were absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend.

The food was awful. The family at the next table had the wrong food delivered the the young girl had melted plastic in her burger then I took another half an hour to get her another burger. Our table ordered 2medium rare steaks one with sauce , one steak medium with sauce and a combo. The two seemingly medium rare steaks both turned up with sauce and the medium with no sauce. The medium rare and the medium were all so rare they could have been defibrillated and brought to life the chunky chips that came with them were so big they were hard in the middle .Wouldn’t recommend and will never be back!!!!!

Had a great pub dinner. Really impressed with the food. Nice atmosphere and really lovely staff. Service is on the slower side but that suits us well. No bike parking, but that was our fault for not checking ahead. Will 100% be back, can't believe we hadn't been before.

This was our first visit to the Broadstraik Inn since moving to the area in 2020. We went for a birthday celebration meal today and were very impressed with the meals and service in spite of the Covid restrictions. Between the four of us we had the haddock, scampi, roast chicken and roast beef, plus desserts. All the dishes looked appetising when they arrived and were very tasty. Service was good too, so we will definitely be back. Make sure to read both sides of the menu (we didn't realise it was double-sided initially)!

Good old fashioned pub, under new management. Great ambiance and quick and friendly services and a good quality pub food. Had the soup and the bruiser burger I think it was called. Dog friendly to top it. Will definitely come back if I'm around.

as a local pub it has a great atmosphere and the bartenders are nice and friendly. the restaurant has a great menu and are quick with your order. if your from our of town it's great as there is always someone to chat too. my favourite thing is the quiz night on a Monday where even if you lose you have a chance to win something like a bottle of wine.

Updated review was 3 stars previously. New management and a refit. Much brighter more modern. Much better selection of beers. Friendly staff. So far very good.__________________Old school in every sense of the word. Friendly but a bit dull frankly.

Honestly the worst meal I've ever had. I went for lunch on a weekday and ordered the roast vegetable risotto which came with "rocket and pine nuts". We had pre ordered, but our table waited for 45 minutes before our food arrived. When my risotto came I noticed there were no pine nuts and I didn't see any parmesan cheese, but I thought they might be hiding under the nest of rocket. I was very disappointed to find that not only were there no pine nuts or parmesan, but there were no roast vegetables to be seen. I forked through the long grain rice, to find 3 pieces of courgette! No other vegetables at all. I tried the rice and it was pretty tasteless, creamy with a hint of garlic. It was more like rice pudding. Certainly not what I expected for £10.I asked my colleagues to taste my food and they were as shocked as I was. I did not finish my food, which is unlike me as I am not a fussy eater. I would have preferred the staff to be honest with me and say that they didn't have the ingredients for a risotto. My colleague also had to ask a member of staff twice for vinegar and when she did bring it we had almost finished our meal. I would expect this in a busy restaurant, but there was only our table and another couple in, all the other tables were empty and clean.Myself and my colleagues will not be back. I only gave 1 star as no stars was not an option. Very disappointing.
