The Buchan Hotel Restaurant in Aberdeenshire

Staff are excellent really helpful and friendly, I didn't find my bed the most comfortable, but was good for 1 night. Food is good and well priced. The breakfast is freshly cooked and plenty. The house keeping is very good.

Wonderful evening with excellent service, as we were the only ones all evening, what a shame for staff and owner. Had a wonderful choice from either the Christmas menu or normal menu. I had 2 courses and they were both lovely and plentiful. Finished with tea and toffee (tablet), yummy 👍🎅

Lovely hotel on the banks of the river Ythan. Warm, comfortable rooms, friendly and welcoming staff, delicious food and a lively bar. Will be happily visiting again.

Had a pleasant stay here over New year, staff all very polite and friendly, room was nice and breakfast is good. 🙂

Very nice lunch good choice and value for money.

Great place to stay, rooms are clean and cosy. Public bar is full of friendly locals. The curry club over the road was fun. Food in the hotel restaurant was exceptional.

They were very accommodating with our group considering our numbers and when one of the group left articles behind they phoned us when we'd left for Aberdeen. Top notch

We were in for lunch long wait for service even longer for meal to arrive and no napkins which I found terrible as aldi across road I'm sure they sell napkins. Wont hurry back

Stayed here for work for a couple weeks. The place is quite nice and the food isn't bad. The WiFi is terrible. Also you have to order a steak rare if you want anything other than total incineration.
