A wonderful menu in very pleasant surroundings. Extremely helpful staff and a dog friendly bar area. Even food available for our 4 legged companion so a perfect evening was had by all 👍

Lovely rooms, lovely food both dinner and breakfast. Been twice now and would recommend. Must be even better when not snowing!

A decent meal in a lovely setting on a driech Saturday , I had the fish and chips while the gf had the burger , both meals were fine but didn't bowl us over , service was very good and price was reasonable

First time there in years. Staff and service were great. Food was nice and a good choice of Gluten Free options. Great that you can take your dog and they are warmly welcomed!!

A warm welcome from the waiting staff. The team were especially busy because it was Hogmanay. The food was beautiful. The hospitality excellent. The music was very good. No dancing due to C-19 guidelines unfortunately. The weather was perfect for the firework display at the bells. We enjoyed a wonderful evening.

Lovely meals for adults and kids. I had the adult fish and chips and the Mrs had a half size. Both really tasty and I've never seen such big chips before and all well cooked through with no hard bits😋. Other couple with us had the shared fish platter (no photo) but it was haddock, smoked salmon, whitebait and calamari - lovely

Food was fantastic and plenty of it,staff were brilliant couldn't do enough for us. We seen in the new year with fireworks display worth every penny already looking forward to next time.

Stayed here four nights very enjoyable. Loved the atmosphere etc however I have to say the food was really good both evening and breakfast were excellent and to top it all I cant thank the staff enough each and every one of them were so helpful and cheerful .Thank you all.

Just back from an overnight trip, which was made all the better by being able to take our dog, both on the accommodation and restaurant seated area.Upon arrival met by a courteous and professional member of staff, who showed us to our room, which as advertised is away from the main building. Room was lovely and clean, with good basic facilities, plenty of tea/ coffee, only thing missing is a wee fridge !!.Glad we booked a table in advance, as restaurant busy, once food order placed we settled back to enjoy a glass of wine, with the log burner glowing lovely.Both starter and mains were absolutely delicious.Portion size was spot on for some lovely pub grub.Very comfortable nights sleep, then up to have , what was a lovely breakfast , where you have plenty of choice of what to have.Check out was very efficient, then off to the Country Park & beach for a lovely walk with the dog.Will certainly be staying another time 👍

Been twice in a week recently, you may remember we sat outside. NEVER disappoints. Been for many years previously. Just a perfect ambience inside, great service and the food is ace. Staff are friendly, but a massive thanks to the unseen chefs. Very well priced too. 10/10 for staff. We will be back. Everyone I have recommended had 10/10 reviews too.
