Food was excellent. Portions weren't massive but i didn't feel over full Like some restaurants.

Lovely place. Delicious food. Friendly staff.

Don't bother reserving as they don't keep a table. Eventually got one after half an hour in the overspill area. Unfortunately this was next to a large table of very noisy boorish diners. The food was OK and well priced but a disappointing evening.

The "best Indian in Ballater" is, in fact, the only Indian in Ballater. Having said that, I had the chicken Karahi and my wife had a salmon special and both were really tasty. Would definitely eat there again if I'm ever up that way again.

What can I say. We got the karahi Hot and a South Indian garlic chilli. Weve been to over 30 Indian restaurants and this is far by the best πŸ‘Œ. Well done guys 5 Star on service food everything. Cant wait to come back πŸ‘β€ curry's are phenomenal and staff super nice. Local or travel. Your missing out if you don't try here

I'm very pleased with the food served in the restaurant and it was delicious especially Karahi special which makes me interested to back again to the restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the service of Sunny and Rasel was praiseworthy.

Had a wonderful meal here on the 27th December with all of my family whilst we were spending Christmas week at our timeshare in Craigendarroch. The food was delicious and staff so welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be returning on our next visit.

Having come from Leicester and cook my own "indian food", not many places come up to scratch outside of Asian areas. I don't like leaving negative reviews but have to be honest it was disappointing. We were stuck for a place to eat and the person in charge very nicely managed to squeeze us in with the condition that we oder everything in one go and leave within 1.5 hrs as the table was booked for 8 which we didn't mind. The staff were really friendly and accomadating. The food arrived and I think our biggest mistake was not ask about the spice level and get it more flavour added. The food and naan contained sugar and was sweet. It was bland and had no flavour and was adapted for local taste rather than being authentic. The menu was particularly confusing and had a lot of choices. (Never heard of half the stuff!). The atmosphere was lovely, tables were clean, staff were friendly and there was indian music playing!

Hadn't reserved a table but the staff squeezed us in despite being very busy. Thankful that they did, even though they were obviously rammed with customers, everyone was very friendly with us and the food arrived very promptly - though we didn't feel at all rushed. Both meals were high quality and delicious. Would go back when next in the area.

Excellent specials plus the usual old favourites, well cooked, served in a very pleasant dining room. Good selection of wine and other drinks. Highly recommend you pre-book a table.
