Had visited a relation at Stuart field after a drive about decided to try zanre,s chipshop café went into chipper got directed next door where we were greeted by a very pleasant young lady who guided us to a table where we studied the menu we decided to have the special loded fries chilli and a pot of tea it was served quickly by the the same young lady followed quickly by the meal which was very good the café its self was very nice it had a very cosy feel about it thank you to the staff I think they were twins

Absolutley fantastic food, but crazy expensive and portion sizes aren't exactly generous. Definitely recommend a visit if you're looking for an excuse to remortgage.

Ordered one standard and one large haddock suppers and got home with two tiny fish. Chips cold and looked like they were from leftovers. Called the shop and all I got was a ridiculous explanation, not even an apology! Overpriced food and disappointing service, I won't go back!

Best F&C I have ever had. Quality chips which are never greasy. The fish is fresh and beautifully cooked. The battered scampi are a revelation.

Disgusting food and exponentially overpriced.Ordered large and regular haddock with large and regular chips. Smelt amazing. Got back to find the haddock was literally as thin as a standard size dinner mat and the chips.. really?! If that was a large I'd love to see what your small portions are! All for £20 which was ridiculous! The only reason we chose haddock as they don't sell cod? Considering its a stone's throw away from the North sea you'd think they'd be inundated with the fellas!We are from the south and we get huge portions plus we also have cod. And at really reasonable prices too!I'd imagine this place is the only one in the area for the locals.Will never visit again, you should be ashamed of yourselves for selling below par food!

Don't come here unless you want to wait an hour for your food it be cold and absolute revolting and half your order missing to go back for it. then told if you want a refund youve to come 30 miles back into store and speak calmly and rationally. A good number of staff behind the counter and can't serve in reasonable amount of time.
