Rooms are nice, food and service not so much, continental breakfast not replenished all week, food not value for money,so that's my personal opinion and my work colleagues.,.

We didn't stay in the hotel, we went along for a meal, 3 of are vegan and was pleased with the options on offer. We all enjoyed very tasty food and friendly service. Definitely go back and highly recommend it. 😋

The rooms at the hotel are lovely, modern, and beautifully decorated, and there's a great choice for breakfast. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming, and couldn't do enough for us to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The hotel also felt very safe in terms of following COVID restrictions.

Lunch here on Sunday was a pleasant experience. Staff very friendly and attentive throughout. Especially liked the mural on one wall depicting scene from the past( done by Aberdeenshire firm). Looking forward to sampling the Christmas menu in December

The team at the Station Hotel were super friendly and very accommodating. The food at breakfast and dinner was delicious. The owners, Jackie and Colin were great creating a fun, friendly atmosphere. The hotel is perfectly located near several stunning landmarks. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here when returning to insch.

Very expensive for the quality of food and service offered. We were put upstairs in the bar/lounge area stuck in a corner ignored.Tried to order food at the bar, got told we can’t process this here by and older Gentleman and asked to take a seat. Half an hour later finally got served, food came another 45 minutes later to be disappointed by amount, taste and no sauces/vinegar what so ever even after asking. After this experience we decided to go, trying to pay was another disaster by the same bar man we tried to order food from.Surely after 4 months of opening your staff would be up to date on how to work the till but obviously not.Very disappointed, won’t be back.

Recently re-opened. A stunning refurbishment. Food is simple pub fare - very tasty and very good value - you might need to book a table at weekends. Very good selection of beers and friendly staff. Great to have a good pub in the village after such a long closure

Ill start by saying that me and my partner visited for a meal one evening and it was excellent we could not fault it, aside from the fact the burger was empty, only meat and bread no lettuce or anything else.A word of warning that the menu is also very very limited, no steak available and I believe a bit on the expensive side, you are charged extra for important toppings on your burger like cheese , onions and bacon which is just ridiculous on top of the dishes price ...However, we attended again several days later with several family members for a Sunday lunch, I had the same burger again(again no lettuce or other fillings) and it was excellent, aside from the chips, which must have been cooked in dirty oil or possibly at incorrect temperature as they were awful compared to the first evening. I was also sad to see that they used plastic cups for sauces rather than the small dishes from the previous night. I will also point out my family members were not impressed with the hours wait we had for our food, I personally don't mind waiting however, we had two very young children waiting who became very upset by the time food arrived. My partner and I won't be returning for a while until the food is more consistent and the menu has been reworked.
