Friendly staff. Pots of tea...so you get more than one cup. Amazing scones. The coffee lounge is comfortable and informal. Good parking. Highly recommend

A bit hit and miss, with mains being alright (no butter on the sandwich was a bit odd though) but pudding being not great. Two were burnt (someone overenthusiastic with the microwave) and the scone of the day was not very tasty and cold in the middle, even though they had warmed it in the oven. Also served coffee in a dirty mug.Kids enjoyed their meals and activity sheets and we weren't charged for the burnt items or that one coffee.

Popped here today and enjoyed a delicious lunch, I had their fabulous vegan chilli very tasty and chocolate fudge cake with vegan ice cream. The other two enjoyed their lunch too. A delightful place with bright interior and a great menu. Lovely friendly staff, will definitely be back. 😋

Lovely wee place off the beaten track, really friendly staff and a great selection to choose from. We had their festive baguette and dirty fries and both were 10/10. Reasonable prices and tasty food. Can't wait to come back.

Recently refurbished. Looks very smart. Separate coffee lounge. Staff friendly with a smile. Good selection of food. Soup of the day was tasty. Good car parking. Definitely recommend

Visited here with my wife and the food was amazing. Venue was a little cold, but keeping jacket on for a wee while got a round that. Decent prices and really good food - I have recommended it to others and will be back, for sure

The breakfast menu has loads of options to choose from, the outside seating area has plenty space and all the current safety measures are taken. There were a few people in for breakfast while we were there and the staff on duty were very helpful and attentive. The food was good and we did not have long to wait for it.

This was a good choice for lunch. There is plenty space and all the current safety measures are taken seriously. There were a few people in for lunch and the staff on duty were very welcoming. I had the chilli beef and you get a big helping. The lady tried to persuade me to have cake but I was too full.

Popped into this lovely, deceptively sized place for brunch after visiting the seals at Newburgh beach. It gives nothing away from the outside, so don't let that fool you! On the inside it is clean, bright, and decorated beautifully in a shabby-chic yet modern style. There is art on the walls by a local artist and small gift items to buy. The breakfast I had was really delicious, reasonably priced and came very promptly, along with a coffee which hit the spot nicely. The staff were friendly and helpful and all in all I was really happy I took a chance to go somewhere new. I have recommended The Barn to my family who will be visiting at Easter. They and I will be returning customers!

Plenty to choose from on the menu, with breakfast and lunch options. Portion sizes are fairly large which explains why the price is possibly slightly on the expensive side, so it evens itself out. On my last visit I was with a person who was allergic to dairy and the server wasn't very helpful when advising what they could have. They even asked the kitchen and weren't flexible at all with things they could tweak on the menu to suit. Overall food was good but a little disappointed in the service.
