Service fine but food could be better for the price.

Xmas dinner great on taste, a tad short on portion size for the price.

Christmas dinner £50 potato two brussel one three turnip cubes two slices of Turkey and some very wet skirlie.

Very average, expensive for the limited menu available. Small portions, especially the starter.

I've been to Jaff's a few times before and went back because I have always rated it highly. The place is beautiful and the menu looks amazing. Deciding what to have was a tough shout. Things went downhill when the starters came. Presentation was lacking any...presentation. A few salad leaves thrown on the plate seemingly qualifies as garnish. My girlfriend had paté but there was barely enough to spread on her 3 oatcakes. The duck bon bons were tasty and piping hot but again, the presentation was lacking.Next up: 2 x honey chilli chicken. The sauce saved the day here. The rice was OK, but the chicken itself was a bit over-cooked. And the 4 prawn crackers weren't exactly fresh. Again, the presentation was more like pub grub.Then we were left in peace for about 40 minutes. No one came to ask if we'd like a coffee or another drink.Overall, well below what I'd expect from here.

Just had a meal tonight (30th Oct) party of six, and once home checked the bill to notice we had been charged for three additional drinks coming too £15, the bi came too £227, I know I should have checked the bill, but the last thing you want to be doing when footing the whole bill is study it in front of everyone. I foolishly trusted that we would not be ripped off.... will not be back.

Lovely lunch with good friends. Waitress was very attentive and pleasant.

Very nice food, friendly staff and nice friendly atmosphere. Always willing to accommodate. Certainly worth a visit if you are in this direction.

Worth the drive out,a very pleasant atmosphere, staff were friendly and helpful,,my wife had a steak, she ask for a medium rare and that's exactly what she got. I had the double venison burger, it was magnificent. They've also got a nice wee bar and all the surroundings are very tasteful. A throughly nice experience

Decided to go and try their £6.99 Sunday breakfast and have to say that it was superb. Restaurant was spotless with full covid measures in place. Waitresses were friendly and very efficient. Chef served your meal which was absolutely delicious with unlimited tea and coffee. Highly recommend and definitely be going back
