Really nice place in a lovely village setting- lots of options, we had scones and tea/coffee but lots of people were having lunch/ breakfast which all looked great Very clean and the staff are really friendly.

First time I've been to this cafe, and can I say the staff were superb and the breakfast sandwiches were awesome, the labourers were well pleased keep it up guys

An excellent little spot in the middle of Sedgefield. The menu is in the process of being updated, but was very good nonetheless. The specials board, however, is where the real action is: two soups, at least three different pies, a quiche and I'm sure I saw someone with sausage and mash (plus gravy, of course!)The slice of corned beef pie that I had was excellent - and a proper portion too. They were even accomodating to my request for a salad side rather than the standard chips and peas (just too much for me today at lunchtime - I wonder if I'm losing my touch... 😉)Great staff too: friendly, organised, understanding, helpful and with personality too. Can't really ask for more...Very highly recommended, and, as Arnie said, I'll be back...
