What a rip off, charging £6 for a bit of fish. Ordered 2 fish bites and chips, they clearly heard us, but only gave us one. Fish isn't even cooked properly

Been here a few times. It's not the cheapest prices, but the food is good. It's awkward to park nearby as it's right next to some traffic lights..

We really dislike giving a poor review, but the quality of the food here was so very poor, it would be criminal not to. Utterly disgusting. "Greasy" does not begin to describe the experience. Keep away. Do not waste your money. Such a shame given the warm welcome, polite service, and clean front of house.

Some of the best fish and chips I've tasted in ages. Cooked to order, the staff are very helpful. Also the parking is very handy

We use to love going here and fish and chips couldn't be beaten but since they change the staff the meals have gone downhill fish was undercooked and some of the chips were still hard...shame because we all went here alot but not anymore..

Couple of dithering southerners entered the chippy not knowing what to ordered and were well looked after by the team.We were amazed by the size of the whale cod - which was too big for the box - and were only disappointed when we found we were just too late for the last of the kebab meat and couldn't wait for the next to be cooked!Instead we left with delicious portions of fish & chips and a bonus bag of scraps which were enjoyed by all 😁

We've always travelled from coundon to tindale for our fish n chips and I must say its the best fish I've ever tasted. But 4 wks ago me n my son had the cod and we had bones in .today the 21st Feb. We ordered fish n chips got home to find mine was just over done crispy batter with hardly any fish in plus my son had 3 bones in it was a waste of money .please check your fish for bones .don't want no one choking...

Best wee chippy ever. Whale of cod and large chips easily feeds two and tastes fantastic. Staff always very friendly and helpful. If you want a chippy and live near or around Bishop Auckland this is the place to go
