Really good haddock, chicken breast and nuggets. Chips were tasty and well cooked!Portion sizes are good!It is cash only, so make sure to bring cash. There is an ATM at the Tesco nearby.

Lovely fish and chips from here. Batter is nice and crispy and full of flavour. The chips are really tasty too. Never had a bad fish and chips from here.I’ve never tried the pizzas, burgers or kebabs from here so can’t comment on those.If you want fish and chips, I’d recommend this place without hesitation.

Best chippy in the area by far food cooked to order to ensure lovely fresh fish and chips service was also very quick, very large portions well worth the money.

My experience at Golden Fish Inn was second to none, the staff provided me with great service, top quality food at a good price and they also have the pleasure to be working with the owner who’s very passionate and takes pride in ensuring his staff and customer’s are well looked after on a daily basis. Decent Fish and Chips and friendly owner. However, on my return home, I happened to walk up the backstreet behind the shop. I noticed rubbish and potatoes littering the backstreet. A few days later, I saw a rat eating from the waste. The waste lay there for a week or two. Put me off.

Despite many staff, they still can't manage to organise and serve. Thought I'd call past and get a pizza but stood there waiting whilst 4 people managed to call in and have fish cooked fresh and get served even before my pizza was done.I've lost count now of how many times I've decided to try them again. I'm now at the point of leaving a review and not giving them any more chances.EDIT 4/9/21definitely never again. Was persuaded to try again. Ordered 2 pizzas and they are soaken greasy mess. Having to try and fry to salvage something edible.

Amazing place, High quality food, owners and the staff are lovely treat you like part of the business. Value for money for me is very key and if that’s what your looking for this is the place to be. Even better when there food tastes amazing. The fish and chip shop is always clean and tidy when I use it on a regular bases the staff and owners never fail to put a smile on your face when you walk in. Deffo recommend 10/10

Lovely fish and chips I got a free tarter sauce and choose hot Himalayan sauce. Which came from chuckle from customer behind. Guess he has tried it before and it's hot.I will try another sauce next time had a good selection sweet chilli. Chilli jam. BBQ. Spicy mayo and more.

Awful fish & chips today. Usually lovely. Dont know if they've changed the batter mix, but it was definately different. The fish inside was all dried up. Usually I cant eat it all , but I was scraping the fish off the batter to get some. For a very expensive price it wasnt worth it. Really disappointed.
