Brewers Fayre Tindale Crossing in County Durham

Nothing exciting but prices seem to have crept up. Burger 🍔 bun was really dry and toasted that it was more like a crouton. Staff were pleasant but don't think we will go for food again which is a shame as have had nice food from there in the past and in the Scarborough branch but think won't bother next time. For £40 spent on 3 meals and a drink feel abit ripped off!

Called in for lunch. Had ploghhmans ham platter. Pic on menu very misleading. Couple of slices of thin ham. 1 dry tiny baguette type bread, nothing like the pic, no butter mainly all lettuce n slimy pickled onions , 1 cherry tomato cut into 4 and one bit of cucumber cut into 4 strips thank god for the crisps! Hardly a platter and not worth £9.49! On plus side dessert was fine.. wont be calling again tho.

As promised a 5 star review. Fabulous team who looked after us well. Thank you gentlemen behind the bar ...Lovely carvery. the dog loved his plate too 😂 lasted about five seconds. We will be back.

Beautiful breakfast. I took my son for breakfast for his birthday and without being asked the chef and the waitress put a candle in his sausage and came over and sang happy birthday. Such amazing staff that made his day so special. Thank you 😊

Restaurant conveniently located next to the Premier Inn Hotel.Breakfast buffet was good quality and sufficient. Even a fresh full English breakfast was available and very tasty 😋Dinner quality was a little less, I had chicken wrapped in bacon, chicken was very dry, add ons like vegetables and potatoes were rather on the small side. Small portion of french fries needed to be shared by 3 persons.

Went today with my mother as a treat as we go out once in a blue moon for lunch. Ordered 2 sirloin steaks medium rare. One came as tough as old boots and over cooked. The other was swimming in blood exceptionally rare.And they were both tiny. The chips were hard and we were lucky if there was ten on each plate. The staff were lovely and friendly but it was such a let down when you look fowards to a treat. We were refunded for one meal.

Food was cheap as there was two for 8.99 but it wasn’t the best and in the end would rather pay more and get something better quality. Having said that would have been really disappointed if we had paid full price outside of the special offer.

Went as guests for family meal. Boxing day menu 3 course menu. Starter was 3 pork meatballs on a stick with a miniature portion of apple sauce and pork crackling 3/10Main course was from the carvery 4/10Dessert was chocolate orange dome 5/10Not great, not bad. Better places to eat around the area than here although the parents think its great!

Popped in for an early dinner, chose the lentil casserole with peas and tender stem broccoli. The taste was very nice but oh dear the value for money was terrible. The portion was tiny for £10.49. A complete rip off.

Quite decent carvery. Really tasty turkey. Beef looked dry and some other guests commented that it was dry. Good selection of veg which was nicely cooked. Tables in need of revarnishing and the restaurant feels tired and in need of some care and attention. Overall value for money and the experience met my expectations.
