Definitely worth a visit. Cafe was lovely and had a fantastic range of homemade cakes. Lunch dishes were a little on the expensive side, but cakes ranged from £2 - 3.50, so about the going rate. The highlight, however, was definitely in the pig shed, where there was lots of gorgeous, happy saddleback babies and their mothers. Absolutely made my day stroking them 🐷

I live 5 minutes away from this place and i never heard of it, i tried it for lunch and it was fantastic.I had organic angus brisket and onion in a bun with blue cheese, the beef was so tender and tasty!! Beautiful! After that i had a slice of black forest chocolate cake, it was really nice! I didn't try the coffee this time but im definitely going back for it!

Really disappointed with last visit here. Coffee was just say warm, one of our group got a dirty teacup and waitress was quite put out when she asked for a clean one.

Lovely place for a weekend day out or school holiday out with the kids. Cyclists stop here too.We played in the forest adventure for a good while to hide from today’s sun and then went to the coffee shop for refreshments. The lemon drizzle was good as was the ice cream for the children (and Dad). There’s a huge field where children can play with rudimentary but totally sufficient play gear. Hay bales are lots of fun when you are between 4 and 9. There’s also swings and climbing frames and you can pay for the forest adventure too if you want.I should have said the coffee shop is open for take out with a one way system in place and the toilets are in a block out the back of the coffee shop now. There’s a one way system to enter order and leave. Cooked orders are served through a hatch to eat at one of the picnic tables.

Loved it here great for small children and the food was good, especially with the the eat out to help out prices

Absolutely lovely only second visit but staff pleasant and food so good will be back again . And been to visit big Dave on the farm .

Fantastic coffee shop. The food, in particular, was excellent - the bacon, sausage egg sandwich I had was precisely judged to appeal to the hungry cyclist. The raspberry and coconut cake was equally great. Add to that friendly staff and I shall definitely be back.Is there anything that could be improved? A couple of the tiniest things could be useful: the farm shop has a big sign on it that says farm shop, but the coffee shop doesn't have anything. It's a first world thing, I know, but it would be more consistent across the site. The only other thing might be a sign on the coffee shop door to say 'come in, we're open' as it wasn't apparent to me that this was the case until I saw another customer coming out (I'd assumed it was as I'd checked the website first)...

The best cooked breakfast I've had for quite a while. Toast with bacon butter!Lovely country surroundings (be prepared for authentic farm smell!) where you can see the animals including very cute piglets. It can get very busy on Saturdays and is super popular with families, if you prefer quiet I recommend getting there earlier to beat the rush.

Had a Sunday lunch and it was Sony amazing. One of the best I have had for many years. Will definitely be back
