Broomside Park in County Durham

Always pleasant and professional staff, nice surroundings, haven't tried the food menu for a couple of years but it wasn't as nice as when it first opened, yet things never stay the same. Still a great place to meet with friends and they still do a good trade in food.

Food was amazing. Staff really friendly. Only issue was the family sat behind us constantly shouting and swearing.

We stayed next door and visited the Beefeater for breakfast and dinner all weekend. Food and drinks on every visit was spot on. Very clean establishment with friendly staff. A special thank you to Maggie though, who went over and above all weekend. What a wonderful lady who was always smiling and super friendly. Taking time to explain menus, interacting with our little boy and simply a pleasure to have as our waitress for both evenings. Maggie is a great asset to your team at Beefeater, and we will definitely return when in the area again. Warm wishes from Scotland :)

We ate here on New Year's Eve, food was nice, freshly cooked and hot. Only downside was they were serving a limited menu so not all items were available. Would still go back, hopefully have a full menu to choose from next time

Lovely food! The place is cosy and the staff members are friendly. Ample free car parking spaces ! Recommended!

Spectacular restaurant and bar. The staff here rescued a near disaster. Wedding reception Hotel cancelled a bride and Grooms reception 2 hours before wedding service. The Beefeater staff rallied and miraculously provided the 80 guests accommodation and food. They were wonderful and saved the day. Food lovely, service excellent, staff really went out of there way 👍 A special thanks to Sue who looked after us tonight. Staying next door so just hope the breakfast is as good as the evening meal was. Definitely come back in the future.

Hidden away but well worth a look, beautifully cooked steak and fluffy chips. Disappointed that some items weren't available (due to supply problems) but that didn't take anything away from the meal. Spacious and very clean, reasonable prices and lovely staff that didn't constantly come to the table. Came here for a quiet catch up with a friend and we would definitely come back.

Having never visited a Beefeater chain before I didn't know what to expect. The place is nicely decorated with good disabled access and toilets. I had the 'best ever steak sandwich' from the lunch menu, while there was options for how I wanted my steak cooked and if I wanted chips/fries/sweet potato fries, there was no option for hot! Food arrived quickly and was warm but not hot and service here is basic. No personality, no conversation and no smile. Can't say I will be returning.

I had a chance to visit many Beefeater restaurants all over the country and this one is just over the average. The food was OK without fireworks. Would I come back, probably yes. Are there better restaurants around, definitely yes.
