Buon Appetito in County Durham

I've rated this as 3 star for a specific reason. We made an advance booking for 6 people checking at the time it was wheelchair accessible. When we got there the disabled parking space was nowhere near the wheelchair access through a side door. Very difficult to navigate and it was a good job there was strength in our party as there were still steps to manage. There was no disabled toilet and the normal toilets could not be navigated. So for that reason only we won't be back.If you have no disability to consider we can certainly recommend the food! We were all very happy with our meals and found the staff to be really friendly and polite. We visited early Saturday evening and it was very well patronised.

A really welcoming restaurant, friendly staff and food was excellent. We ate here three times on our short visit to the area and each visit was as good as the first. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful evening. Top quality food and host. Extremely clean restaurant..beautiful fire.I had Mare pasta gluten free. Absolutely fantastic.Recommend 200% reasonably priced. Romantic but also suitable for families, something for everyone.Thank you for being so welcoming,🙏🏽❤

An impromptu visit on the way from High Force waterfall back to Redcar. Spotted the nicely decorated restaurant as we were driving through Wolsingham. Plenty of space as it was early evening. Attentive staff. Good food. Great price.

Absolutely amazing place! I CANNOT say that enough!Brilliant staff, very friendly and professional and welcoming.Arrived without a reservation, no problem.Seated by the windows, good specials on the board.Goats cheese starter literally oozed deliciousness! Almost like a foam. Awesome.I had the fillet steak, honestly.... this was the best steak I ever had. Melted in the mouth. Blue cheese sauce, delicious. Chips nice, crispy and with rosemary. Amazing.My girl had crepes fiorentine? Again... delicious!! Piping hot with loads of flavour!Honestly... Treat yourself. Treat your family!

Lovely friendly Italian restaurant. Mussels to start. The best lasagne I've ever tasted. My son had a gorgeous authentic pizza.

Delicious food and excellent service! A lovely restaurant which I'm sure we would visit regularly if we were local.

Fabulous food, great service, lovely setting. It was a 40 minute drive up Weardale on a grey, wet afternoon for us to get there but it was well worth it. We'll definitely be back.
