Tonight I ordered Bhuna King Prawn (with extra prawns for a small charge), keema Nan without the red paste on top, tarka dhal, keema rice and lamb tikka. The delivery arrived in under 30 minutes and the delivery guys are always polite. Best Indian carry out in the area.

Our ‘go to’ Indian take-away and they’re very accommodating with my food intolerances (wheat, dairy, egg). Most of our meals are spot on, sometimes a little disappointed but it’s few and far between.

Excellent food cooked to perfection best curry I've ever had

My local takeaway and how lucky could we be?Great service and great product.If your dish is supposed to taste of garlic it tastes of deep roasted garlic. If it's supposed to be spicy it has real chillis in- their recipes are fantastic.The chicken and king prawns they use are top quality and the curries are never swimming in grease. Side dishes are as well made as the mains. I love the Saag Bhaji.We order once a month and it is always pretty much perfect.Prices are about average which is great value for well above average food.I'm bathing in the afterglow of a Chicken Tikka Jal- Frezi meal as I type.Tremendous.

First time we have used this takeaway but definitely won't be the last. Food was delivered within the time stated. Gentleman on the phone was very pleasant as was the delivery driver. Food hot an very tasty highly recommended.

Excellent food, super tasty fresh and always hot. I love indian food and it took us a while to find a good indian takeaway, we love this place we have atleast one takeaway per week. The king prawns are huge and juicy and the garlic chips are amazing!

The food is excellent..They have a new chef and he's the best. Can't fault this Indian takeaway it's the best around. Always receive excellent service. We order every week and I wouldn't go anywhere else...

We've recently moved to the area and decided to try this place out. Even though it's across the road, I did a quick Google search to try find a menu and see what the reviews were like - they all seemed really good. I rang in the order and asked for the total, I was pleasantly surprised at how good the value for money is. So much so that I was weary they left an item off the order, but they hadn't.My partner ordered her usual chicken korma and she rated it as the best she'd had. I had my favourite, saag paneer, it was as good as the best I've had (Indian Chef, Lanchester).Top marks to the Burnopfield Tandoori, we'll be back!
